I took your original comment about the quadriplegic car as being serious so it got my back up right away. Coming up with weekly combo's can be a chore sometimes as you're trying to please as many as you can, so when I read that I reacted the way I did. I've also been a headache riddled BOB all week, so I'm not in the best frame of mind to begin with.
A good thing to do when you post something like that, which could be taken the wrong way, is to use Emoji's (the little smiling face in the top bar :D ) or a simple haha or lol. Sometimes it plain obvious when someone is being funny or sarcastic, other times it's not.

Yay, I've learned how to make print bigger, and now those tiny round things that are different colors.
I couldn't figure out how to make them bigger so I could see what's on em tho. Also my paw has trouble picking just one.

A couple more years on the computer and you should be able to update a spread sheet or something, lol!!!

My request for the next race: pony car golf carts at Pebble Beach Country Club.

And Bear, are you still on AOL for your email and do you hear a weird electronic sound when your dial-up modem connects to the internet? Lol.

Hey guys and Bear:banghead::cheers:, See......cheers.
Steve and I ran some AC last night, just for a change of pace. Wow, blown away by the game now. Whatever they've done in the past updates, it worked. I hate to say it, but it's better than PCars now. The sound and Physics were extraordinary, especially the sound. So good in fact, I am going to try and run a casual night on Friday for those who have AC, I know most of you do. I just wish they had more tracks.
Who's with me?

Sure. I'm in. Do they have a 69 camaro??...

Did they ever fix the issue of not being able to put your car I gear before the green light?

Sure, it's been months since I've opened AC, but I got the update notices. Would love to do a F1 race with the 312T and Lotus 72D.

I couldn't find what exactly was in the update other than some new cars and Laguna Seca, but the cars do feel even better then before, maybe it's just because we haven't played it in so long. No change to anything in respect to the lobbies though :(

The three laps we did last night in the 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup at the Nordschleife were freak'in awesome though. I had to go do another couple just now before dinner! Here is a small clip. For those that don't have AC, crank up the volume and you will hear all kinds of sounds we don't hear in PC, sounds exactly like a bare bones race car should.

Wow, in your video you can actually hear the “whine” of the straight cut gears! I’ve ridden in one IRL, and that’s what you mainly hear (plus gravel hitting the fender wells sans sound deadening). Might have to take Assetto out for a test drive tonight.

now I just need the gt legends mod to be allowed into PS4 version like they did on computer and I'll be in heaven.

FWIW - My results: PCars2 still my favorite.
I took the Lotus 72 out at Brand's Hatch in each game. IMO, PCars is still much more immersive and realistic. The scenery colors and shadows, the cockpit, and especially the cockpit blur and helmet movement in relation to the cockpit really goes a long way where the stiffness of AC still feels like a game. Also the Lotus 72 in AC has poor engine sound compared to PC and not much cockpit rattle from the body parts. For my run the physics seemed in line, although the AC Lotus had a really good understeer feel, which I think PCars could use a bit more of. Going uphill in turn 4 the AC Lotus really understeers compared to PC, so one of the two really nailed it. I'd be surprised if the Lotus really understeered that much, but regardless the AC feeling is much more 'skatey'.

I agree on the classic Lotus cars, I also like them in PCars better. And nothing has changed in the overall situation, AC is still behind there. But quite a lot of the cars, like that Porsche, I find the overall physics better, the sound and feel are superior and oversteer and especially understeer are really good. But that was the case before as well. Imagine how great a sim it would be if those two titles were combined!

Taking my son to see Ready Player One tonight. But I'll try to join you guys for some Assetto Corsa action when I get home. Send me an invite please.

Straight off off of Google so we know it true.

Old Bear
::is a gay slang term. It describes a hairy, heavy-set (sometimes muscular) gay or bisexual man. A bear typically projects an image of rugged masculinity. Some bears present a very masculine, over-the-top image of a ruggedly masculine man. ... A younger (or younger looking) version of a bear is called a cub.

I thought it was meant to be like that? It still is yes. I kind of like it.

And Aero do you really need to crank up the volume? The games 7 times louder than it needs to be already :P

You guys are full of crap. I googled it. And that did not come up. Unless you are looking on porn or gay sites?...
Which I am not going to do.
But interesting side note, one of my customers decided he would try and fix his steamer himself. So he googled Cleveland steamer.... he told me he wished he could erase what he had seen. He was so genuinely horrified, I took his word for it. I always put steamer, Cleveland, model, 21cet....

Hilarious true or not SGETI.

Thanks for the invites yesterday Mike and Bear - sorry I didn't make it - had a bunch of stuff going on. Hopefully we can try again.

Not minding that Audi much0 it's pretty fun for a quadroplegic....

I can just imagine what all the other "Old Bears" think when they see Bear openly displaying his preference. I've seen a picture of him and he would fit right in.......don't even need the suit.
Cmon, honestly, who didn't think That when they first saw his name online? I sure know it made for some fun comments in the room last night.
Mel, you know we're just pulling your chain, eh? I can't believe you never heard of Bears.
As for the Cleveland Steamer, I had to look it up too. Up here it's called the Sudbury Steamer. Only you don't aim for the chest. Been there done that. Not so bad.

The AC room didn't work out last night, but the tomfoolery room was a big success. We can try again next Friday. Get your AC downloads up to snuff or you will be left behind.

Are you serious. Really?... little kids books and stuff have old bears titled in them. So there is a chance some kid could type that in and see that crap?....that's just Effin sick!!...
Get the goddam striped crosswalks off the pavement. They want understanding and tolerance, quit putting crap like that where it can be seen by children. 🤬
Effin PlayStation won't let me change nick name. I've had the 🤬 nickname for 30 years. When cutting wood I started pushing down the deadfall trees like a bear. Aarrrgggg ... Effin poofters!!!

Me, Gr8 and Bear (no homo, lol) ran AC last night after the shenanigan-fest, and it was pretty good. Takes a little getting used to setting up a private room, tuning the cars, etc. but once you figure it out it works pretty well. I'd recommend that everyone who wants to run AC jump in ahead of time and explore how it works. It could prove frustrating trying to get 16 people into a lobby on race night who aren't familiar with it.

And when I first met Bear I thought he was what his name implies, but he was cool so I didn't really care what he did in his private life. He'd talk about his "boys", and I thought...well, you know. Then I figured out he was married and his boys were really his sons (who are nice guys, too). I thought it was hilarious that he selected a name not knowing the connotation (but he does know the problem with AC/DC). I race with someone who is a transvestite, but she's cool so no judgement or problem there (other than being faster than me!). And I raced with a guy whose name translates to white dragon. I'll explain it to you sometime if you don’t know what a WD is.

A friend of mine was the Admin Sergeant and decided to get a vehicle wrap done to protect the front of some new patrol cars. He stupidly Googled “clear bra” on his work computer. Another was looking for a way to restrain inmates attending court because some judges say that body belts and shackles can’t be used. Anyway, he was looking for something that would lock their arm or leg straight (like a cast would) so it could be worn under clothing and they couldn’t run away. He did a google image search for “appendix restraints”. A ton of pics of guys with their “tweety birds” locked in little cages popped up. We died laughing, but the Sheriff’s Office IT department didn’t think it was so funny.
