Sure does seem to be some whining going on this week about the cars and track! If anyone doesn't like the track or the cars, no one is forcing you to race. If the cars are too fast, drive slower! A couple of BOB's picked the replacement track and frankly, if some don't like it then too 🤬 bad.

When there are cars that are this fast on a track like this the racing tends to get hurt. But I think I tamed the beast and I think I'm doing some good laps I have to wait for the weather to be sure and see what others are pulling.i pulled a 2:52.339 puting me top 30 on the charts if any one can tell me if this is good that would be great.

We already raced a faster car here (Lotus 98T) against a slower one (Lotus 49C), which had even more of a speed diff than these Porsche's, and I do believe most had a fun night. When the cars are this fast then it just means everyone has to be that much more careful, especially when coming up to pass, if it means slowing down somewhat then that's what needs to be done. If you don't hear clear communication for the pass then it is up to the faster guy to get by cleanly.

Ok......Who peed in Aerogrumps Corn Flakes this morning? This is a true BoB.
It's hard to please everyone 100%, all of the time. I think a year of almost full rooms says we are doing a decent job so far. We try to mix it up as much as possible to keep things fresh to keep ya'll coming back. I'll tell ya one thing......Bears 69 Camaro is a POS...not his real one, but the game one...pee you it stinks except on the ovals, it's pretty good
I expect mayhem in this combo, it's the nature of the beast, very fast cars on very fast tracks with guys who don't practice at all and wonder why they wreck. A clean start is critical unless you want to drive for 30 minutes all by yourself....now that gets boring fast.The speed difference between the cars is something we should all be able to handle by now, we did it before with hardly an issue. We explained a couple of times why we changed the track, it's a dead horse....let it go.
I'll say one thing about old Spa......if you are not racing with anyone, keep to the right of the track if possible to avoid taking out the zoomies. Zoomies also have to give way to battles in front of them from Grp-B, patience please.

Yknow we are wiping our asses with rabbits so they change color for protection, and all we hear is whining from them?.. well it tends to make us feel unappreciated.

The one we have is a 908/03 Spyder with a 3.0 l flat 8, normally aspirated. (350 to 370 hp)
The 908/04 had a 2.1 l Turbo flat 6 (500+ hp)

Oh yeah, one more bitch, then I'll shut up. They did not get the sound right at all. It doesn't sound like a small block Chevy screaming at 8,000rpms. Just listen to the hundreds of you tube videos. I used to own one. I know what it should sound like.

That just sucks, honestly. Last week practicing for today I discoverred that I wasn't getting full throttle again, so had to 'reseat'/clean my throttle pedal - third time in a year. IMO it's just piss-poor, especially in your case, that design and quality control is so bad for stuff we pay so much for.
Enough Ran. Sorry to hear Mike, hope you get it sorted out.

Mike, is you’re wheel plugged into a USB hub or directly into your PS4? I had the same problem when my USB hub was slowly dying. When the PS4 sent out a signal to the wheel/controller (every 8 or 11 minutes or so) it didn’t receive the proper electronic handshake back and would disconnect it.

Hope you could make it tonight. Have you double-checked the connecters to/fro the wheel to see if any may be slack?

Guy's, I won't be racing tonight. I have been battling bad headaches since last Wed, and when headache does go I am very lightheaded, which I am now. I just tried doing some laps and just can't handle it. Not a happy camper! Hope it goes well and you have fun.

If Mike broadcasts then I can get scores from that, but to be safe can someone take screenshots of results and PSN message them to me, thanks.

In case Mike has the same issues as last week again, I am posting all the setups for the lobby for tonight below so they will be easy at hand.
@Gr8_Lakes, Jeff, you mentioned you have really good internet speeds and would give hosting a try, if it comes to that it would be great if you could.
Biggest thing to remember is always hit save at the bottom and double check room is private.
I put invite list at end here as well so all is in one post.

Nope, wheel plugged directly. I did unhook my hub and put my keyboard direct as well. We shall see.

I’ll probably be late joining tonight if there’s still room. We just put the house on the market 4 hours ago and have already had a couple of showings, with another scheduled at race time (of course). Good thing is that the first couple already submitted a full asking price offer. We want to see if a bidding war will happen. Occurs a lot in this area. Here’s hoping!
