One of these days I've got to learn how to transfer vids and pics onto these threads.
I can help ya with that one Bear I've seen it too

Bear if you want to share facetubes video...just click the arrow under the video that says "share" and then just copy/paste it here

yeah that's him, but the video I saw he was blowing on a trumpet or something.

I see the share button, but there is no gt planet button to send it to...only face page.

@Mike Lobban , some nights I just need my mic function taken away. I know you can appreciate this because you and I both have a bit of a temper, and a bit of "wit". Point is, I feel like a jackass for letting loose on what turned out to be a nice guy in a public lobby. Oh, brother. Story to follow.

Hey don't mind me man, I stopped by my cousin Strawberry's house last night, and he gave me some stuff that just blew my mind... Know what I'm talkin' about?

With all the (well deserved) hype over this week's choices, I wanted to share this relevant pic of my collection. The two are some of my very favorites: for the Daytona I grew up loving it. It starred in 'The Gumball Rally' and I even still have a 70s slot car version of it somewhere. For the 333SP, I got to see it race live at the short-lived Pike's Peak Raceway in Colorado Springs. It was soooo awesome to watch (and hear). I'll try to dig out the pictures.

Ask my 1st pit crew about my temper..... oh wait...you can't... I dismembered them. Sshhhh. We shall not speak of this again....

“Both look good. Ended up going for the 1996 Ferrari 333 SP”

“Bad David, bad bad David, it is strictly forbidden to announce your pick, but I don't know what to do with you now, maybe @GUTTERBOY3007 can help? At the very least we will make you start at the front in race #1 :D

David, I know you’re not from North America, but that was a serious breach of protocol to announce your car selection. Seriously, you don’t want to get Canadians mad at you. Here’s an example of how they extract vengeance when you anger a Canuck:

Since I havent done highlights in awhile:

From a few weeks back when we ran the Indy cars

1st lap carnage. I get up into the catch fence, almost like Mike Conway did a few years ago.

You can also see what I was talking about once I land and try to get going again. My car simply wouldnt turn and I had the wheel/stick turned full lock. Some weird PCars bug they also need to get fixed. @Lessen tried to help me with some settings but it didnt work.

Going to have to start calling GTLehman the "magician". Now you see him....now you dont....

This was a fun race and ended up battling back and forth for the lead with Waffle and Aero

The final race was scraped and we ended up doing that shenanigans race on Daytona road course. That wouldve made for some awesome highlights, but since the track was not suitable for it, it didnt turn out all that great. Mike and Aero, promise us we will do another one of those again soon but on a track that is legit.

Clios:

Red was also doing his own magic tricks, appearing and disappearing all over the place

coming up on 2 laps to go and chasing Zii, Waffle and Sgeti ahead of me for 1st place. Red realizes he is having connection issues and pulls off 👍
I was honestly surprised to win R1 since I got caught up in an incident early in the race which probably cost me a good 20 seconds.

R2 start

https://youtu.be/W-jk_xJhdPE?t=1h23m44s

Mid race battle for the lead. I went for an inside pass on SGETI in T1 and I think he probably gave me too much room and ended up going wide into the grass (which was very easy to do there). Bummer SGET. We were all running really well together.

https://youtu.be/W-jk_xJhdPE?t=1h35m13s

Trying to catch Mike and Aero for 3rd

https://youtu.be/W-jk_xJhdPE?t=1h57m57s

R3 start. You can see that Mike wasted no time to get going behind me. Drive it like you stole it Mike!

When I first tested out that Clio and the track I thought I would hate it. But just like so many new combos, after racing them began to really enjoy it.Shoutout to SGETI with the ghost/tune. Although my controller didnt like your tune (I'm finding the default 'stable setups' seem to work pretty well) I did use your ghost and tire pressures. It definitely helps learning a track when you've got someone to chase in the same car as you. See you guys Monday in the Ferrari!

I've been called a magic man, but never a magician. Although I admit I'm pretty good at disappearing from the front of the field and showing up at the rear....
Thanks for the highlights!

I don't normally double post, but in the wise words of an internet sensation from Huntsville Alabama;

"Hide Yo' kids, Hide Yo' wife, cause an arachnid gemstone is on the loose!"

Active/Inactive drivers.
Active drivers have priority to get into the race, up until 8:30 pm on race night.
Any driver who has not raced in the last four events will be put in the Inactive Drivers List and will not get an invite on race night. You will need to let us know, preferably before the evening races starts, if you want to join and we will send you an invite.

The camel would like to register. His lap top is down, so I said I would put in a request for him.

Jeeeezus Christ. Those Rouens Les Effarts tracks are narrow as hell and so slippy. You're a wicked sonovagun boy Aero for choosing those tracks. You couldn't find a narrower track eh?
Just did a lil practise session to try out (with default Loose and Stable tunes BTW as I don't have a tune and couldn't find any) and it was quite a chore to make a lap self. And that is is Clear, Spring weather set at 12:00noon eh so you could well imagine what racing on wet would be like. I didn't even bother.
I could see a good couple slipping off tracks and collisions come Monday night. Lord put a hand.

Remember, there is another BOB in the equation with picking tracks! However, we both feel the car suits the track well and you just have to drive the car accordingly. But the rain thing, I suggested that without consulting with my partner in crime, he might kibosh that! The great thing about RLE is that it rewards precise and cautious driving. You want to push it and risk riding the curbs, that’s fine but it will bite you hard if your not careful! I did think the car was fun in the wet :D
We could have gone to COTA
