Yea, I'd run too!...... you're really pushing it now eh David......I don't usually post those numbers until race day.......it's pretty simple math that I'm sure you can figure out....... :D

If anyone is interested, or doesn't know, or for you math challenged folks, coughinsertnamecough.......read on....this is how I figure out each weeks laps and fuel.

We need race in laps for pit stops to work correctly (this might not be required now with the new patch), regardless, still the same math required.
So here is this weeks scenario.

Grp B
30 min race length = 1800 seconds
Avg lap time of 2:20.xxx = 140 seconds
1800/140 = 12.857 So I round off to closest even lap number, so 12 laps
Fuel lap avg = 3.4 litres. So 12 x 3.4 = 40.8 I then add 10% to pad fuel and round up to next even #, so 44.88= 46 liters total. So max starting fuel would be 23 litres.

Grp A
30 min race length = 1800 seconds
Avg lap time of 2:15.xxx = 135 seconds
1800/135 = 13.333 So I round off to closest even lap number, so 14 laps.
(At this point I make a decision on laps based on time we spend during the evening to help keep the night on schedule, I will usually go towards the lower number of laps (gpr b @ 12) to take in the time spent in the ready up stage and rolling start ect.)
Fuel lap avg = 3.6 litres. So 12 x 3.6 = 43.2 I then add 10% to pad fuel and round up to next even #, so 47.52= 48 liters total. So max starting fuel would be 24 litres.

As A & B are so close in fuel I round up again to 50 litres total, so both groups start with 25 max. This process ensures that no one should run out of fuel and you usually have more than needed. You can usually get away with putting slightly less fuel in at the pitstop but you will have to figure that one out yourself, and is 5 liters or so worth the risk!
Math? I'm a pilot, I can't do math....

"Math? I'm a pilot, I can't do math...."

I can’t either! I've got to take off my shoes and socks just to count to 20. Over that, you'll hear a ZZZZZZZZZZZZ (zipper sound), and me saying: "22 and a 1/2, 23, 24...getting turgid...27...almost there...29...."

SMS, you're killing me smalls...
So I fired up a Ferrari GTO at Bannonbrake tonight. In cockpit mode (you know, windows rolled up, helmet on) there's an (annoying) echo sound going through the rock valleys, bridges and by the stone walls. It's annoying because, well, rock or steel girders, its the same tinny sound. Plus it comes on gradually then just cuts off like a switch, and it's a sound I really wouldn't expect to hear in a car with a helmet. I'll give 'em an E for effort, but they obviously didn't check their work or don't have any experience in the real world, with echoes and such. I'm sure they still think sharks are dangerous to humans at the beach.
Anyway... again, where is it can I report this?

Overall I do think there's some improvement in the visuals, and I *think* my sound is better (louder) in lobbies. Still wanna drive my F40 though...

The problem with the error code is that it shows the Fun Pack screen for about 2 seconds then crashes to the blue screen with the error message on it. On the official PCars forum a lot of people are having the same issue and are complaining. I know SMS seems spooked because some user named KrypticTMG (or something like that) is having the problem and is going on YouTube to post it. I guess he must have a lot of subscribers if they actually care what one users problem is.

@Robbie: what are you doing on a Friday night hanging out online with a bunch of BOBs? Go out there and chase some tail, get hammered, and wake up with a tramp stamp tattoo and a vague recollection of dancing with a “woman” who looked suspiciously like Kevin Spacey’s twin sister. Youth really is wasted on the young! Lol

She walked like a woman but talked like a man.....
You know, when I was a kid, I thought that song was about race cars... before I was old enough to understand more than the word 'Lola'.

I'm sure Robbie is on the Candian wahines like white on rice (like snow on ice as they say in the north).
He just has enough energy to do it all and then some, unlike us BoBs who can only handle so much excitement at any given time...

I know of 5 people that have had problems so far. They have deleted their game and reinstalled. They kept their saved data and loaded it back up after the reinstall. It has worked every single time for those guys.

We worked on mine as I had same problem,

All is working fine ,

I even installed my profile from pcars2 but will not install any setups or ghosts in case there is corrupted data in there,

Had same problem on Pcars 1 where over 18 months I had corrupted data 3 times ,
The first 2 cured the problem but the 3rd time I lost over 600 hrs of Pcars1 data,

Wow! He’s a combination of Gilmour/Waters/Syd Barrett all rolled into one, with the keyboard skills of Ray Manzarek from The Doors. And his grasp of the lyrics is highly nuanced and “experimental”. Is it just me or does he sometimes use the old rift from the 70s TV show “SWAT” in his rendition (at 17 seconds and again at 25)? Bravo, my good man. Well done!

I won’t make it to the race tonight either. My wife is already down in Texas for a couple of weeks, and my 12 year old daughter let me know at 5:30 tonight that she has both a science project and a history essay due tomorrow. Glad we didn’t use her long holiday weekend to get it done earlier.

Have fun and I’ll see you next Monday night.

:gtpflag: Results :gtpflag:

A little last minute change before we started tonight. There were only three Grp A drivers when we opened the room so we decided to combine the groups and all drive the Megane. It was a wet but fun night. Thanks to those that showed up tonight, and Bear and Nick, sorry to see you guys had some issues with different things.

Congrats to @RobbiefromBC , this weeks "Mr. Awesome" for the overall win

@SGETI
I didn't get the time difference on my screen shot of race 1 to see if you beat CB by that 10 seconds or not. It won't affect your finish position but it would make a difference to CB's. That's if you guys even care, :D

Loved the rain, loved the car, everyone that didn’t show missed a really awesome night!
But, a little more knowledge as to where those deep rain puddles would be could have saved me and many others a lot of grief. The racing was close at times. Cockpit view works too, as long as you can find the wiper switch. As far as cars go, I could not get a good feel for the rain tires in the Megane. I am going to do some tweaks to the force feedback and see what improvements are possible. I aspire to be like @RobbiefromBC . Crazy fast that is.

Once again your medicated mind failed you, as you lose the engine argument we were having last night about the open wheelers that raced at Mosport.
It is the F4 US Championship Series, all powered by spec Honda K20 C2 (2.0L) engines. They do use different brands of engines in different countries but no Mazda's anywhere.

Here's a couple of pics from Mosport last year.

Yeah, ok, I really didn't have to take that call last night, I could have let it go. I have been hit with a 25,000$ bill from my condo management for upgrades to the common areas that are desperate to be done. I have two condos so my portion is 50k. Ouch, big friggn hit, needless to say my head wasn't in the game and my performance reflected it. So I quit, yep, I quit and cried all night. Wa wa waaaaaaa.
No more excuses, I'm glad everyone else enjoyed themselves.

I hate to admit it, but Steve is right. I was wrong.......for once.

So when you big.

......$25,000 large x2 boy? Weyyyyy!!!!! That's rough.

I could throw in a twenny if it would help.

I take a lot of grief for my infatuation with yellow and black, but how can you not like this, (even with the Halo).
