Mr. Baawesome here, it's been awhile since I've been able to say that (Dec last year)! Certainly didn't expect that but you just never know. That was a fun but tough night trying to keep those cars on track, sure worked up a sweat! I heard a lot of laughs, and a ton of swearing from one "Shaun "I'm usually so polite" Lehman :D Great performance from Colts for running away with both win's, this is what can happen when he's quiet and sober  And my co-cheese, I don't know what to say about that :boggled:

But the biggest news of the evening:
Drumroll.gif

After one year and one week with us, Mr. @davidt33 finally got himself on the podium, a 2nd in race 1 and 3rd overall, congrats David!

Congrats to @coltsjugg, this weeks "Mr. Awesome" for the Group A win
Congrats to @aerolite, this weeks "Mr. Baawesome" for the Group B win

Well at freaking last.
<-----Not last.
I'd like once again to thank the Cheeses for restarting the first race to accommodate me (and also the rest of the guys for agreeing) when I got unceremoniously disconnected from the game through no fault of mine just at the end of initial qualification especially when I had set a good time and decent position. That was a huge scare to say the least so extremely grateful for the consideration. Didn't mind too much having then to start from the back. That race was sure a hoot.

Major congrats to Colts for your splendid finishes bro. You sure were on fire.
Congrats to you too Aero bro. Good going.
Lobbie I felt real sorry for you about that pit stop not properly refuelling you, poor ting. I felt your pain.
Leman what happened with your cornering bro? That was pretty unusual. I was watching your replay and you seemed to be having real trouble turning in.

Anyway thanks again all for the race. I quite enjoyed it. I think LeMans Vintage has now become my favourite track. Cheers all.

I predicted Davids good showing last night. Best night ever for you Bud. Congrats.
I'm so tired of all these little hiccups that rear their fugly heads in this game. Last night, it was no fuel going into the car on my pit stops....I swear to God I checked before the race for a 50 gal fill up, hose went in, I could hear the fuel going in, but it must have spilled all over the ground. So, needless to say, I was pissed.
Thanks for showing up.......you guys are the best.

About your pit stop strategy refuelling Lobbie. I double-checked your replay to see what was the story with that.
Sure enough, you did input adequate fuel (and then some), and you saved as well. That was real effed up the pit crew didn't refuel....not only once, but freaking twice. Poor ting.

Yea, I was curious as well so checked it out in your replay. About the only thing I can see, in both races, is that during the ready up screen you did check that the right pit strategy was checked, but did not actually look at it to see the fuel quantity. However, it should not have changed and just making sure the right one is chosen should be fine. Might be worth it to go into the chosen strategy to double check but it really should not change. Then during your stop it only held you for five seconds or so and definitely your guage showed no fuel going in, very strange.
It doesn't make sense that this only happens to a few and then others never have an issue, you'd think it would either work or not!!
Must be that Flopatec wheel, you never had pit or downshifting issues with your T-300!
Mr. Baawesome out.

I'm with Aero on this. Better sell that Fanatec bro. Or ask for a replacement.

Had a great time last night. Towards the end of the 1st race I could feel Alex breathing down my neck for about 4 laps. I can't believe that I took 3rd in both races though. I thought I was worse than that. Thank you Aero for the 917 set up. Had I had a couple of laps with it before the race I would have had my brake points down. The set up was rock solid and fast once I learned where to brake. That was a blast and would love to see the cars return at a classic Monza or classic Spa.

Congrats to Colts and Aero for the overalls.

I would also like to thank Dave. I don't know what happened to you at the Ford chicane, but it gave me the opportunity take take 3rd place in the B class on the last lap so again  Thank You.

@Mike Lobban, make sure you have pit stop errors turned off when you are opening the room.

Congrats to Colts and Aero, and Congrats to David!
I really love these cars, but just never truly got comfortable in my own tunes. During my practices I tried different things, but just couldn't find a balance that was fast AND stable, for me at least. After the races, I got Aero's tune for the Porsche and it was great - The car actually turned in!
Fortunately I had turned down my volume and FX, but even then a few times I bounced onto the grass and once into SGETI during quali - sorry about that SGET. Big Time and I had the 'race of errors' the second race which I only one because I managed not to screw up the last thirty seconds! Fun racing though Dave.
And the game still does have it's weird little bugs and such, very sorry for what happened to you Mike. I don't believe it was a 'bug', but out of the blue My Ferrari had no brakes at the end of the Mulsanne. The brake temps weren't bad and I hadn't encountered that in any of my practice races so who knows. Maybe it was simulating a greasy track. My throttle pedal has also been acting up again the past few weeks. I opened and cleaned it, but it seems like there's some flex somewhere, as most of the time to get full 100% full throttle instead of 98% I had to plane my tow and then plant my heel on the base. Then I would have to cycle through my hud to check it.
So, not a perfect night, but I still loved it. I'd trade 1000 GT6 wins driving a Dodge at Apricot Hill for last night's race. I could almost smell the tires and oil, and I think I saw Steve McQueen in the pits. The fact that these cars took focus just heightened the feel, and the sound, oh yes DAT SOUND.

I absolutely would like to see this night again, and we know Mike, Jeff, Gutter, Robbie and a few others do to. Maybe the same cars, maybe the 'other' 512 and 917s, maybe a combo of all four. Maybe throw in Daytonas and or F40LMs. Lots of options. F*k yeah!

Ditto. Survey says "Let's do this race again" is the most popular answer.

If you're referring to me it's because I'm a moron and ran out of fuel and kept spinning out, oh and I SUUUUUCK! CONGRATS to the winners or winner coltsjuggs!

Mr. Baawesome here, it's one page back at the bottom David. Mr. Baawesome out.
I saw that previously but it wouldn't load. Every time I clicked to view the screen would just remain black.

EDIT. Ok now getting it to play.

Click on the twitch account at the bottom right and it will take you to his twitch page. At the top beside Sim Racing Madness it says Video's 15, click on that and you will see the video.

Ok I'm now a fan of McInnis's replays. It was so much more interesting hearing all the guys reactions and raucous commentaries before and during race. The video was clear and the audio crisp too. I vote we appoint McInnis the official streamer of all our races. Who's with me?

Mcinnis' stream is awesome since you can hear the voice comms.

"Cheese and rice?" had me dying Alex :lol::lol:

His stream is comedy gold!!!

I thought you guys said my mic was breaking up? Well I have a new headset coming tomorrow.

Edit: I got further into the replay and it was breaking up. Yay new headset!!

Glad you guys dug it! It's been a labor of love and I want to do so much more to it, like incorporate all the other guys's streams instead of just my boring view. I always seem to end up racing myself. :banghead: I considered adding Lobanaro to a regular streaming schedule, but I'd feel obligated to stay the whole night. Sadly, with my schedule I should be sleeping by the time race 2 ends. :ouch: Maybe something will change, or I can grow a pair.

I love the Lobanaro Title page logo at the bottom right! And yea, totally agree with David, it's so much more entertaining to hear everybody. And one race is better than none Shaun, thanks!

Just an FYI about who got what number post. Aero actually got the first post on what is really page 100, even though the page number says 101. Think about it: there is no “Page 0 (zero)”, so you start on page 1. So page 101 is actually the 100th page. Aero wins!
Your OCD too huh, lol. I had thought about that as well but it was too much fun giving bear grief!
Well at least I got to start off the TOPP 101 with saying how Baawesome I am. And it's main body is about David so he should be chuffed about that!

Any idea of when you might be returning Gutter? Be good to have you back.

Congrats, Mr. Baawesome! And it’s great to hear that David had high finishes, too. Salute.

And yes, I’m a little OCD, that’s why I was laughing seeing page 99 being touted as 100.

We closed on the house yesterday and the furniture starts getting delivered Thursday. It’ll probably take a couple of days for the movers to place everything in the rooms. I’ve got the theater all prepped and ready to set up the rigs. I’m hoping that I’ll be online again and racing possibly by the 25th, but more likely July 2 (just to be safe). It’ll be good to get back with you guys. And it looks like you’ve had a pretty good turn out, so if need be I’m cool with being an alternate in case someone who has regularly been there can’t make it. I’m just ready to get settled into the house. The kids are loving the pool, especially in this heat. And thanks again Robbie for the pool care info.

Here are some pics of the COTA simrigs. They use Forza, so I told them to check out PCars 2 as it is much more realistic.

@Mike Lobban I hear ya on the game struggles man. I quit playing PC2 myself recently due to an ongoing technical issue that is seemingly out of my control. Gosh, the game could be soooo GREAT if everything worked properly. *sigh*

Yet for some of us there is rarely a problem, that’s what doesn’t make sense!
You got your rig all finished now and doing the iracing thing?
