 yeah basically. I found 2 '10's, a '09, and a '11 Skyline 2000 GTX. I guess they just fell under there and got left.

I will actually look underneath the shelf units in case something like this would happen. Serious.
I never thought to do it, but it worked!

EDIT: The package was pretty torn up :(, so I removed it and placed it in a display case, and maybe I can repair it later. Here's what it looked like originally:

My best old car find was the black Datsun 510(worth some bucks). I hope your iPhone's ok. 👍

@Cano, don't forget the kids with Hot Wheels in hand....... Cano: The gold medalist runner of the toy aisle. Edit: I got one better: Grand Theft Hot Wheels.

Not actually about collecting, but has anyone ever taped Hot Wheels cars hitting each other in slow motion? My friend did it. Cool stuff.

*Gets two Datsun 510 Wagons Super TH* *smashes them together repeatedly*

I think all Hot Wheel collectors would be crying by then.
If there's an actual kid like that somewhere we'll send Cano there to teach him a lesson.

Here's a REALLY poor quality video I found. Doing it with an iPhone is way better but here you go.

Well, idk how to do that on an iPhone. I'll figure it out later.

EDIT: Here's a cool video that's just the same.

@Mrs.Koios isn't helping. She just told me to "go have fun". I don't think she had any idea what she just did.

No she doesn't. Ask my wife.

Edit: Just found this for @Cano

Ah, you truly don't know the story. I'm not in the chase for Drag Buses. My affair with them dates back to 1996, when the original HW-Liveried Drag Bus hit the pegs. I was at Wal Mart checking out an enormous floor-to-wall display of HWs and hadn't found a thing. Then this little kid comes in, pulls my t-shirts and tells me "oi, can you please give me dat one?" and points upwards. I turn up and high, way high, I see a chassis I've never seen before. I step in the display stand and with the help of a HW blistercard make it fall down. The kid grabs it and I see it and go "oh damn", and ask him to let me see it. He gives it to me and I run like a freight train. That was the only time I ever saw the Drag Bus in the pegs and is, to this day, the only one I have in my collection.

I REGRET NOTHING.

Of course, after telling the story here it became an inside joke, and well, here I am with a new avatar...[/QUOTE]

$1 grocery store mainline hot wheels: Gateway ......................something.

Yeah. Goodbye money. I will miss you. I take back my statement a few pages back about how people could $20+ on a car. I am slowly learning.

I'd feel obligated as a father to say "bad Cano". But honestly, I've already had that thought run through my head while hunting. 'What if some little kid picked up a car I wanted, what would I do?' My answer isn't any better, so I can't judge by any means. Funny story though.

Someday, Cano's legendary tale would become so big that we'll see that very Drag Bus on eBay(w/Cano autograph) for something crazy. People checking out the auction will see the pic & go, "hey, what's that imperfection on the card there???" gtplanet members know. It is from the tear of a small(and terrified) child.
