I will lend you a hand on that, even though I really shouldn't, if you get your hands on a HW LaFerrari, one or two, either or, doesn't matter.

If you are able to get me Velocitas, Clear Speeders, the 2014 MBX BMW RTP1200 Police Bike or Master Ambulance, I'll take some cars off your TTP page.

I'm only making it sound like more work, because I want to support your efforts, but you don't have a lot left I really want.

@AOS- You should have bought my Anniversary model Master Ambulance, but I'm kidding, I was able to make money on that on eBay. I've seen the new mainline ambulance & it doesn't look as detailed, so I passed.

Speaking of eBay, I just had your countrymen offer me a transaction outside eBay on the RLC/BRE Bluebird(still listed for $510 lol). When I said I'll pass, he actually got little annoyed with me. Ended up having a few back 'n' forth, but we are good again now.

Master Amb. will have the lowest demand for my collection, but it's certainly not "blacklisted". I only recently learned of the 2014 mainline. And I may just come across it one day, so I'm not itching for that one too badly.

But anyway, if you're ever able to find me a LaFerrari in stores, I'll take up your TTP offerings. While working through the blog, I felt it would make a drool-worthy addition to the Stealth Project. So if you would like to help make that happen, that would be splendid.

I think his deal is that he wants everyone to read his, I don't want to be rude, but very boring & insignificant story in the item description. His friends obviously don't care, why he's telling us on eBay, I have no idea.
Master Amb. will have the lowest demand for my collection, but it's definitely not a complete denial of entry.

I was absolutely not interested in your offer until this "stealth project". If I see one, I will pick it up for you, and you know I don't care if you don't buy anything I've listed on TTP. Having said that, I haven't seen LaFerrari in what feels like couple of months, so it's a super long shot.

W-well it's not like I wanted to help you or anything! :P

Thanks, S-Trillion. I'll do my best not to disappoint.

Well, you're gonna have to because I can't let that awesome deal slide. :)

1991 Christmas 4-Pack. Germany Exclusive. <-I hope that's correct info.

Checked the local Walgreens yesterday for the new hot wheels shipper, came up empty. Checked it again today, someone beat me to it.

FML.

That's really stupid, they are produced in the millions and millions and might be worth a couple of bucks max someday if your lucky but what's the point. Modern production volume has made non limited edition stuff rarely worth stockpiling.

Reminds me of the Treasure Hunts. They used to be so awesome and they even came in limited numbers once, now they aren't nearly as good!

I still like the Treasure Hunts, but I highly prefer the older models.

Let's be serious here, which would you rather have?

This?

Or this?

Prototype_H-24-2013_101.jpg

I find that Cobra to be infinitely superior to that Prototype-H24. The H24 hardly looks like a treasure hunt.

Eh, don't worry, we're alll and the same  I'm also flat-broke. Even so, when/if you have a chance, can you grab me a 34 Dodge and a 70 Blazer? I promise I'll send you the dough as soon as possible, but getting money off those guys (the magazines) is like trying to charge NASA or something.
Sold my other phone, got some extra cashola now. Will look for those cars while I am out and about tonight.

Almost gave me a heart attack- thought you actually got your hands on that Cobra TH.

I also found that Prototype not knowing it was even a TH at the time.

Hoarders. Thinking they will be worth a pretty penny in the future.

That will partially come true because they're trying to monopolize it. The less available, the higher they can ask for one. While what @Robin commented on about mass produced cars is partially true, that doesn't necessarily stop them these guys from doing it anyway. Hoarding lower its vast availability, and the other majority of collectors who already have one are obviously not going to let theirs go. The most reliable source to get hold of items at that point is from the hoarders themselves.

I came across a post on facebook where someone shared a photo of a box loaded with the white Datsun 240Z. He was ever so willing to sell it to anyone leaving an immediate note: "It's not for a dollar though."

Those things were peg warmer status for a long time.

Speaking of 240Z's, Target got some new 20 packs in and the new 240Z is in them. Would have snapped a pic but my phone was dead.

Even his name is on it!

Thinking back, I think I somewhat regret letting those two Homer shortcards stay on the peg. Das tradebait I probably could've gotten away with.

I finally got rid of my second Homer. Auction ended Monday, but I'm still waiting for payment(going to Australia via Global Shipping Program).

I like orange wheels. I don't know why, but I do.

Edit: @Spacegoat - How do you like that Shelby Ford Econoline Van, Jarrod? I won't buy Greenlight from AmiAmi, and I also intend to avoid the set, but if I could buy that van loose, I am all over that one.

Thought I secured a very limited availability Beads R32 in red, as well as some other unknown R32. Seller says they actually got no more.

You let me down, seller.

Extra cashola = happy Canola. Let me know (:
Walmart has Looney Toons, Target has Star Trek. I have to go to a grocery store today to run an errand, so will check there. I think all they have are the candy cars. (Snickers, Skittles, etc)

I can only wish that I had it, unless my local antique mall has one hidden somewhere. :mischievous: Besides that photo is too good of quality for my crappy photography skills anyway.

Thats understandable, it honestly looks nothing like a Treasure Hunt at all. Same for the TwinDuction.

I honestly think I have passed by these a number times not knowing they were Treasure Hunts. I miss the way it used to be when we had green stripes.
