That's weird, because you say that, but one that you specifically selected as the addition to your prized collection was this beautiful baby:

How can I add something to my collection that I didn't know existed? Silly Shinji. And again the only reason I picked up the Dodge is because it was a TH, probably wouldn't have given it a second look otherwise. Despite TH's being very average these days, I'm still a sucker for them. And Son of Cano? 10/10, would watch. 👍

Me, I'm really biased. Back then, I preferred Toyotas anyway(in Japan, it was really Toyota vs Nissan), and my dad drove a Chaser, another sister car to the very popular Mark II.

Mark II it is. I just photographed it on one of my Tomicaramas. Wonder where that idea came from...

Another info post:

Kyosho Beads catalog. Date releases, code number, even package size/weight. There's at least 60 releases I haven't even heard of or seen ever.

That's 2 of 6 non-racing R32s owned. I've got some work to do!

Does anyone have one of these or the wheels that are on it (chrome specifically) laying around they don't want/need and will sell to me for cheap? I just need the wheels/tires.

I....have....an....idea.....

:P

I actually nearly bought the set the other day at the super market.. then i saw the price.

About £24 for 5 cars, that's almost £5 per car, which i guess is about $7-8 for each car and $35-40 for the set in American money.👎

At my local Walmart, they are $3.49 each.

That's the van I mean! I'm talking about the secret TH in your collection, not the Hot Ones! :D

Lawless biker gang, led by no other than our Hispanic gang leader Cano, running guns & hot wheels. Man, it'd be an epic TV show.

Awesome.👍

I am a casual Star Wars fan, but man, am I the only one who sees these hot wheels as a reaaaaal stretch? I may be interested in R2D2, but that's it for me.

That's a winner right there. You should pitch that to HBO.👍

(Though i insist Dr Nessy Scorcese should oversee the direction, and receive the majority of the budget and ALL Hot wheel props used in the production).

Strangely enough that kind of stuff doesn't usually appeal to me either (casual Star Wars fan too), but i gave it serious consideration when i saw the set, as i think it might be one of those things where my appreciation for the product will grow over time (if that makes any sense).

Casual fan here too, but it was a no brainer for me. Found them all at the Walmart near my work on the way home and purchased them all. Also got my Johnny Lightnings and my OH5 Datsun wagon in the mail. Pics after V8's are over. :)

So I finally found Datsun wagons. 6 in total so far, but 4 really as two (flat grille, mesh grille) are for Ahmed who hasn't seen a single one. I also found 3 Lotus Spirit, all of this in a dump bin of, amazingly, 2015 A-case cars. Wouldn't have even imagined they were landing here already. Gonna go huntin' some more tomorrow.

EDIT:

Dude if I had a gun-totting gang, forget stupid Hot Wheels. Auto Art, Exoto, Minichamps, CMC, Pocher, you get the pic. Screw Hot Wheels.

I think we should seal your box and ship it out since everything you wanted me to buy for you, you are finding yourself. :P
Think I should wait for K day to buy B case cars? Or do you think they'll have the C case for K day?
K-Day = B case.

Tip of the day: do not buy old Kyosho minicars.

More specifically, do not buy any Ferraris from their Minicar Collection 2.

Their stab at chrome wheels and stylized logo name printed on the base isn't all that amazing. The castings are pretty blobby too. If there's a car you like in the set, find it in current or future NEO release.

Boring news aside... got too many photos to upload, so here's another one up and waiting.

Porsche%2B935%2B(2010%2B6h%2BWatkins%2BGlen%2B1976%2B-%2BStommelen%3ASchurti).jpg

The second 935 of the 5 ponies.

This is the 2010 Minichamps Porsche 935.... 6h Watkins Glen 1976 - Stommelen/Schurti. According to the print on the box in comparison to two of the 934s, neither 935s won 1st place at events.

Bought this over the Kyoshos, because the wheels looked so bland on their models. The Wire spokes as well as the 5spokes on the rear of this one give it variety the Kyosho lacked. What I did like about Kyoshos over these is the ground clearance. It may be more true to the car to give it that gravel suspension getup in the Minichamps, but low is my flow. :P

The build quality on that Lightning is spectacular to be honest. TLV quality from JL. Sucks they went under, they were like Greenlight in that their castings were hit or miss, but this one is definitely a hit. Jeep is pretty good too, Typhoon not so much but it's not bad.
It's my impression that Greenlight is as consistent as a Rolex compared to Johnny Lightning. Granted, JL could absolutely hit it out of the park at times, but they missed big, and they missed so often.

For me, for consistency: AutoWorld > Greenlight >> Johnny Lightning

I always see those three as competitors. M2, they do their own thing(and I like it).

it might be one of those things where my appreciation for the product will grow over time (if that makes any sense).
Like with the %*# chicks. I know what you mean.

:P

Ugh, I dread to think what will ask for the five pack if I ever see one down here. That was the thing I was most interested in.

More carded stuff went loose just now. Watch out!

Cute little things. Just need that 2014 one now. Also:

Porsche%2B911%2BGT1-98%2B(2000%2BMainline%3APR5%3APink%2BTint%2BTampo).jpg

2000 Mainline, not only a PR5 variation (supposedly rare), but also the pink-tinted tampo variation. For comparison of tampo colour:

Porsche%2B911%2BGT1-98%2B(2000%2BMainline%3AWSP).jpg

Here's the common WSP release. I've got a WSP pink tampos as well.

While I'm on 911s, I uncarded the rest of my Speed Machines. Screw card history.

Porsche%2B911%2BGT1-98%2B(2010%2BSpeed%2BMachines).jpg

There goes resale value.

Ford%2BGT%2BLM%2B(2010%2BSpeed%2BMachines%3ATeal).jpg

The super sexy devilicious teal GT LM. Also gone is the potential value, but it's a keeper. Can't deny that sharkbody shape with that fanning wing style.
