I know only from pictures, as she is currently on her way from Kyoto to me. :D

Well, here's to a safe delivery, and a nice rest for such an amazing racing (scale model) car. :)👍

Plot twist: it's just the box

I have to admit, I laughed with that one. Imagine that, hsv opening the box, and nothing but a note saying "lol, we forgot the car. Sorry!"

Further plot twist:

It's my birthday in two days time. Package makes a mysterious detour... package is somewhat lighter when hsv receives it.

Damm, Doc. Remind me to not allow my international deliveries to go near the UK, not the car-related ones at least. Unless it's some Blu-Ray anime boxset, 'cause I know those don't interest you much.

And if you ever get some Vanguard Corgis, I'll be sure to... "borrow" them for myself.

This is what's inside, for anyone interested:

Well, not that I didn't know the (frankly awesome) contents of the Orange Box already (no Half-Lifes here, gentleman, move along), but thanks for giving us another reason to envy your birthday gift. :sly:

Trust me it's worth the wait. Bluebird Silhouette is among TLV's finest efforts, just amazing. And happy birthday. 👍

Personally, I'd say ALL Silhouette TLVs are Tomica's finest efforts, those and the Seibu Keisatsu line, quite frankly. The Bluebird/Skyline duo are amongst the wildest and most detailed TLV models, and there's something special about the Seibu assorted collection of Nissan police cars and Skyline RSs. Both are worthy of a medal, in my most sincere opinion. 👍

It wasn't *the* cheapest thing ever, but it's worth it.

$60

Another possible answer would be "because greed blinded their common sense, therefore preventing them fromt thinking about the others".

Guys give the guy a break! He bought all 72. I would too. And I even said I would keep them all in the case they came in to show off as part of the collection. Unique finds are unique finds, whether it is one variation or a 72-count box of Supers.

This guy who found them? HE GAVE ALMOST ALL AWAY! Including one to me to be nice. And those who contacted him on Facebook who he didn't know, he sold a Super to them for $10 shipped. He has three left, and one is open and being played with by his 3-year-old son.

Mine arrived today in a priority box. He didn't need to do that. So call him greedy. If he has even made a dollar off these 72, with all those shipping costs, I would be surprised.

If you would leave some, that is fine. I believe you. But don't fault him for buying all. I wouldn't blame him for selling all 72 for $20 a piece. What if that funded something he or his family needed? What if he was able to take the money earned and put it back into his collection? Think how awesome that would be?

So do whatever you would do if you found them, but don't kill others for doing something different than you.

Fair enough, then. I take my comment back, knowing those facts better. I guess I was too rash in my judgement regarding that purchase, since I wasn't aware of the fact that he sold most of them so quickly. If he wanted to sell them to fund a family venture or reinforce his collection, that is fine by m, it really is.

If I was too unfair with my statement, I apologise. I wasn't aware of the whole thing.

I wonder if other VGTs will be created as diecast scale models...

I'd like to see that, really. Why not a Chevrolet Chaparral 2X by Kyosho? I'd buy that for a dollar. And TLV NEO keeps up the new tradition of adding more new blood to the TLV line. No wonder Tomica calls it NEO...

TLV, wut r u doin...stahp! I have too many preorders already.

TLV don't care about your preorders, they want those delicious dollars that are in your wallet. You should know that by now...

If I ever meet you, I'll buy you a round of beers just for this post.
