Not bad for 10 USD. If there was a silver one available I could have bought that one instead...

Alright, I have taken pictures of everything @AOS- sent me. I love how it was cheaper to send it in two packages.

Beginning with the Norev's which I got for 2 hockey dollars each.

I remember Andy posting this Renault in this thread a while ago. The stance still looks goofy.

Speaking of goofy french cars.

Next up, a Simca Rallye II. Been wanting to pick this up for ages, so this was a great opportunity.

And the Monte Carlo version as well.

And a rather nice looking Mercedes. This is a really cool casting, it just sits a little high.

The 2 maple leaf dollars per car deal also applied to CM's. God damn, you don't turn a deal like that down.

Starting with a block of rally imprezas.

Phew, that's that done. I'm not even a huge fan of Imprezas which is why I haven't bought these before.

But there's plenty more CM's rally cars to look forward to.

Like this nice C4

and this Xsara

I'm sure you've all seen plenty of CM's delta's before. Here's another one.

Can't have enough Stratos...es? Strati? Especially when they're as bonkers as this one.

Not as bonkers, but still pretty special. @AOS- is this an error? I don't think it's supposed to have different wheels front and rear.

I always liked how CM's made plenty of models of the same car with slight variations. They're not just simple recolors.

Moving on from Italy...

Actually no, we forgot something in Italy. Can't wait to see what Tomica can cook up to rival this.

Phew, cruising along just fine through the haul.
Kyoshos next.

This thing is amazing

And this thing comes close to rivaling the Minichamps! Close... I might post some comparison photos some time.

These were considerably more expensive than the 2 dollar cars by the way.

One more spoiler block to go! Minichamps this time.
I've shown this casting before(it's amazing apart from the goofy looking exhaust), but now I added two liveries to the collection.

Which incidentally also completed that collection. I should take a group photo of the 934 family.

And finally...

Chew on this post for a while. :p

Don't really see what's that great quality-wise about the Norev tbh. They look like Cararama/Hongwell in terms of quality imo.

The Porsches are neat though.

They make goofy looking french cars?
I don't remember ever claiming I only collect the highest quality cars.

Ah, I must have misunderstood, because your wording made it seem like you were expecting great quality that wasn't there. Naturally the quality will be lower because the retail price is as well.

You can actually buy the post-crash version from Asian sellers on eBay. After they ship your car in a padded envelope.

You would know. You've had plenty of experience with sellers like that.

Too soon? :P
Conrad Straight lol. It's "Conrod", for connecting rod.

I didn't notice that typo. Oops. :dunce:

I like..... like all of those.
Not saying you did just saying I don't think they're great quality. I'm not personally attacking you lol calm down

I think it's the snarky faced avatar. j/k
Sorry. For some reason I thought Norev costs similar to Kyosho lol
I did, too.

I'm in disbelief as to how some sellers ship expensive collectibles in padded envelopes, but lot of those turned into free cars, or almost-free cars, so I'm over it. Best one being this $52(shipped) car:

It was actually the box that was destroyed. Car's perfect.

I always sent my loose cars in padded envelopes. Even one to Australia.
No complaints so far, but these were all hot wheels/maisto/majorette/matchbox that I sold for 0,7 GBP each, so not much harm even if something were to have happened.
I don't think I'll go sending off TLVs in padded envelopes any time soon.

@Apok, It's not an production error. This 1974 Sanremo from the SS11 release is supposed to have mixed coloured wheels.

There is however the 1974 Tour de Corse that has matching coloured wheels:

Except it's not a secret model. *wink*

I like..... like all of those.

Yeah, you missed out, son... like big time!

Well.... now that the best Minichamps (aka Jager 934) is no longer in the collection, I may start passing up my other minichamps porsches as well, so whenever you're itching for them, you know which Canuck to dial up.

Anyone happen to know how rare/hard to find and valuable this might be?
I've seen pics, but never with that box. That is sweet!

I think we are on the same page. Cheaper loose cars, I wouldn't have a problem? It's the premium carded, or boxed cars when the condition of the packaging affects the overall value.
Yeah, you missed out, son... like big time!
I did, but I'm still trying to strategize a way to downsize my collection. Very glad to see you found a good home for all those cool cars though. Very nice. 👍
