Well hello guys! Since our yearly fall festival happened yesterday, I got to go to my local antique mall again! I only had $24, so I didn’t get much this time, but I do feel what I got is pretty worthwhile!

Jeep CJ-7. Love this casting, much more so than its retool. Not only is it in good condition, but it’s in my favorite color and will go great with my white one I got a few years ago. Only problem I have is it’s missing paint on the center of the tampo, which I didn’t see until after I bought it and it bothers me. It’s in good shape otherwise though. $7.

Rocket Bye Baby. Though I probably overpaid for this one, this casting has always interested me and I have been wanting one of these even more lately, especially after watching Baremetalhw restore one recently. It’s a little rough in the front, but not terrible and best of all, it rolls good! Track performance is something that interest me with this one and I am so glad it rolls good. Should be fun to toy around with later! $17.

Didn’t have much, so I didn’t get much. I didn’t have a lot of time there, so I didn’t look around much and I didn’t make any pictures of my findings either.

Regarding the Parking Plates castings I posted earlier, I didn’t forget about them. I had every intention to buy them, but I just didn’t have enough for them sadly. Fortunately, Jack says he still has them and hopefully I’ll be able to get them next time. I didn’t ask about the Twin Mill, but imagine he still has it since he keeps them in the same place.

Stuff I found, two old cars from a Walmart

new Q case cars but still no Chiron

liked the Mod Rod so I picked it up.

The Mod Rod is one of those rare HW fantasy castings that are close enough to a real thing to be feasible, especially in the custom scene. I rank it alongside those such as Mad Manga/Track Manga and Muscle Bound for feasibility.

On that note, Time Shifter appears to have died a death after only a couple of releases. It could have many uses, other than the tyre and pizza ones so far.

Civics are nice and, despite being my least favourite Evo, the VI looks great in it's signature blue.

Surprised no one's mentioned the HK exclusive EF9 Civics in Gr.A guise. Going for too silly money on eBay for my liking.

First time I ever found a Super Treasure Hunt in the wild. Wasn't even hidden either and the pegs had sort of been picked through.

Also picked up some P case cars.

Ever since I saw the N case stuff on pegs, I haven't seen a single Chiron. I guess it really is being scalped...?

Some dude I was digging through bins with was taking a handful of white Civic Type R s and white Tesla 3s.

I guess those were worth something.

I'm having the front room re-painted next week so having to clear all my shelves down in readiness. Spent a little over 2 hours carefully re-boxing all my Tomica Premiums and the handful of Limiteds that I have out on display.

Realised I have far too many loose HW in storage that I'm now wondering why I picked them up in the first place. Dunno if they've much value on the 2nd hand market so might look at donating them down the line.

Local Walmart dumped a batch of N case cars and was finally able to find the Chiron. Finally found the R34 Team Transport and I like the G wagon and Defender enough to pick up.

Also got a load of boxed white FK2 Type Rs and blue R33's which I bought in bulk from the US so need to get around to doing something with them also.

I was amazed to find one lone set sitting on the shelf. As though someone had the intentions of grabbing it but didn't. Half the pegs were full of the Falken set and the new Porsche 356 Team Transport.

Is this a real white lightning or just painted? The base is metal. Saw P and Q case cars no N case dump bins.

The Volvo is nice, but the Speedtail doesn't transfer to small scale at all well with Tomica's limited detail and wheel choice.

Walmart had eight bins one day. Eight! I've never seen so many boxes before at once.

Kept some goodies:

Couldn't find one without droopy eyes. Oh well.

Resisted this for about 30 mins, but resolved to convert this into a mod project; wheelswap and painted lights most likely.

Will do some work on this too.

Also left some others carded for meow, Ford Focus RS, Audi RS5, Alpine A110.

I considered it but the colour schemes didn't do much for me. Good looking model though. 👍 Still waiting on the white Civic I ordered last month. Got it combined with a Greenlight set that's been delayed. Hopefully I'll get it soon, maybe...
