Going to pick up quite a few of those cars. I'll definitely be getting the GSX too, I love that casting. And I also love the re-color on the Galaxie. 👍

Both my auctions have 1 hour left, currently at $28 total for both combined. I really didn't expect them to go that high. :odd:

To me, that's still a good price for that lot, Turbo - you probably might even get more. Good luck!

What makes the car so special to you, Harry?

Well more a post for the 'Happiness' thread than here - though still somewhat relevant (now that you asked):
If you are talking about the car itself - it's a dream car - a car so hard to boss, and yet when one has befriended it, will do the impossible - almost as if it has a will of its own. I can never tire of driving it in GT5. (Or in GT4 either)

As for the toy Stratos - so long with me, that many happy memories are attached to it. Taken on so many picnics. played with (under a worried eye!) by all my kids, lost, found, - and so on . . .
Strangely enough that is the only Stratos I have in terms of models! What am I doing?!

*slaps head thinking of Tomica.

Edit: (Just caught this:)
I can relate on feeling attachment to a toy you've owned since you were a kid. Playart Miura has same effect on me! What is this about 0/0/0 in GT5? I barely played that game, and have no idea what that means.
I can't believe I remembered that Lancia from when I was so young. Why is it that I can remember the Lancia from when I was a toddler, but I can't remember the first girl I had a crush on? I think I was like four or something, and my mom used to tell me that she was the ugliest girl in the neighborhood. Maybe it's for the best.

LOL.LOL.LOL. a6m5 you kill me.

Also 0/0/0 means that the car is virgin - untouched, unswitched, not driven, 0 miles on it.

You, like...... need to get this car. It's your favorite car, so you need more than just one. I'm just sayin'...

It is funny, because I don't have the slightest clue to what she actually looked like.

Dude, what is the point!? I'd drive the hell out of it. If I actually played the game. :P

Edit: I forgot I actually had a Lancia. With hideous paint job.

P.S. I found a new, mint Stratos on eBay. For fifty-two bucks! But with free shipping!

I also saw loose one for $15.

I have several to drive - including both Road and Rally versions. The 0/0/0 is basically a rarity - and if put to use, may actually give you more HP than a used one (even one that is 'refurbished') I, of course, have put it to use. ;) having a weakness for virgin material that needs to be run in perfectly.

Yikes. There goes my allowance.

Cano - that is probably a clearing house/online toy dealer - wonder how many they have in stock.. . . .

whatever they are, they know what they have, and that means high prices. Such a car and of course, many other, are what I call "patience finds". If you try to pay market prices for such pieces your wallet will bleed, so you need patience to find them with people that don't know what they are selling. That's why it is important to visit flea markets as often as possible. That's the only way I've had of laying my hands on some of the rarest cars in my collection.

I may or may not have posted these before. As I have a fone already, I'll keep better track now:

not really one I'd buy, but it was a gift:

Stopped by Toys R Us looking for the CRX (which they didn't have) but I did come home with:

(sorry about 🤬 quality. Anything past 4:00pm here and I have to use a flash which ruins the photos)

Empty. :P

Every time I go out I don't think to purchase duplicates. Getting low on spare cash at the moment though. I went a bit overboard tonight. :nervous:

When we get to repop the wheels and tires, that thing I showed at the customizin g thread, I'm very very VERY afraid my HW buying-quota will almost double, due to having at my disposal every kind of wheel imaginable. I'll be doing wheel swaps and detailing like a maniac, because I would have to destroy another car for the wheels.

it's gonna be dangerousssssss

Also, you guys won't have to worry about not finding the Boxster. I think there were more of them in that shipper than any other car.

I swear they play gt over at mattel, the cuda .. the cammaro.. True story, I bought the first hotwheels camarro this year because it was red like the one in game, I bought one soon after in GT5 and painted it metallic black... then they re release it in Metallica black 0.0

Hey guys, I'm back from San Diego (Been back since Monday in the late hours. Been busy with some errands mostly) and I had a blast just hanging around on the beaches to seeing the nightlife of SD (the girls are freakin' hawt out there! I'm telling you the truth ;)👍).

Checked some of the stores and malls and hit several jackpots of HWs and MBs, ranging from 2010-2012 :D. I brought nearly 60 cars, but I have to keep them down low since my parents are getting a hint of my collection again :nervous:, but thank goodness they don't care but I have to be a little bit careful on bigger purschases like the one I did. I'll tell you guys which ones I got tomorrow since I'm tired from running around and cleaning up the house a bit.

Diego lives.👍

P.S. On that Lancia. It's amazing that it still has the stickers intact.

Yes, Diego is back - love those 'arty' photos. 👍 The Lancia must have not been exposed to humidity.

Ah, I want that Ranchero, dammit. And the 71 Cuda.

Joins 'Ranchero' mob: Ranchero! Ranchero!!

Got some Tonkas yesterday; glad I got my Steam Shovel back (had one, lost it.):

Might stop by my Walmart to see if there's anything new. Doubt it, since last time I was there (on Monday) the pegs were still rather full. :( Completely forgot about the Cuda! It is a sexy model... :D

Went to the flea market this morning, since my new job's rather demanding compared to my previous one. (8 hour shifts and a total of 40 hours a week compared to the pizza place giving me at MOST 15 hours a week) Unfortunately nothing new, so I bought myself some cars I told myself I'd get if they were still there. Grrr, hope some goodies appear like last time. :grumpy:

First Editions Ferrari Enzo
Peugeot 405
Mercedes C-Class DTM (Unfortunately, not in the color I was hoping)
MB Ford Transit
Dodge Charger
Cadillac Cien First Edition

Also, a6m5, where did you find the Lancia and Bugatti!?

Stopped at Target this morning. Started by looking at the newly stocked Matchbox and didn't find anything newer than what has been found over the last month. Looked at the Boulevard cars, nothing new there either. Glanced over at the Hotwheels and it had been restocked with a couple boxes! (shocking for Target really)

First thing I found was a Volkswagen Beetle Super TH! Woo! (only my 2nd Super from 2012) Everything else I already had. There was also another Ferrari 430 Scuderia TH, but I left it for the next guy.

No actual photo of the car I bought, but it looks like this:
