I'm really lost.

Some rare Woodie, but the blister's covered up by paper. It may, or may not be worth a lot of money. Harry's talking about car in his pocket that he drove over something.

I'll be back later. You guys better make more sense when I come back.

P.S. Nice moster trucks, Anton. They really won't come out with the Bigfoot though, huh? That was my favorite. :guilty:

the chepo ones facing left like a match box in its blister, i got my hopes up =( mines the 10$ one in an error card facing right =(
oh and r1600Turbo the batman 5 pack was available at my local target, i didn't buy it tho =/ isi t worth much second hand?

Well...I guess I just can't stop! I remember how I said that I might be unable to collect for the rest of the summer, well that doesn't seem true. Already have a new plan for buying and sneaking in hot wheels. For the flea market, my mom works in the morning so I'd have to wake up a tad early (for me at least...) and take the car that she leaves behind (her new client lives close enough for her to walk to) and then drive to the flea market! Secondly, for stores like Walmart, Toys R Us, and Target, I could possibly stop by them on my way to work (or in Walmart's case on my way home at 10PM). So I'm still going to be collecting! :dopey:

Alright, time for a small picture dump... I was pondering to myself about another flea market (open air one) that was about 10 minutes from home in a nearby town last night, hoping I had time to stop by. And...I did! Lots of cool stuff I found there. :D

I'll sort of sort these by the vendors I went to.
IMG_0058.jpg

First up, an elderly man who had several collections selling (baseball cards, rocks, and HOT WHEELS!) Unfortunately most of the stuff was actually pretty recent. He also had some scale models that were interesting, post those in the other thread. But I did find:
Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 (Matte black!)
Ferrari 512M
Dodge Challenger SRT-8

IMG_0059.jpg

A collector was selling off his stuff on a table and noticed that I was eyeing the Hot Wheels/Matchbox table and walked up to me and asked me if I wanted a treasure hunt for $5. I was kind and said I'll look at it, but it was a fantasy model and....I don't really go for treasure hunts. But I did find these on the table!
Alfa Romeo 155 Touring
Ford Escort Cosworth Rally
Ferrari F355
Ferrari 456
Isuzu VehiCross (red!)
and...Ford Focus (I don't know why, but I liked it...)
-Afterwards, I walked off towards another vendor and the vendor that sold me the stuff above walked over and said he had another box for me to look through, so I went over hoping for something interesting-
IMG_0060.jpg

Got myself another one of the Alfas. The other Ford Escort is actually the first one I got from another vendor before the one posted above.

Finally, at the last few vendors, I came across an elderly man who had a couple of little wire shelves with hot wheels all packed in loose. After that I went over to a vendor that had a lot of NASCAR model kits and diecast, but had a couple of other licensed vehicles, but I did get one...special one. :)
IMG_0064.jpg

Ford RS200! (From the NASCAR fan vendor)
From the elderly man:
Porsche 911 Speedster (Had one as a kid and loved it, so had to get another one)
Another MB Ford Escort Cosworth :sly: (More beaten up than my other one)
And finally a HW Vector! :dopey:

And since the Indoor Flea Market in my town was just a couple minutes away and on my route home, I stopped by. But there wasn't much interesting... Just bought this Land Rover. And a 1:43 scale car... :indiff:
IMG_0061.jpg

Side note, the vendor that sold me the large amounts of packaged hotwheels/matchbox offered to bring in a couple more boxes for me tomorrow. Is it worth going again to check it out?

Man, he offered it to you, go and check it out!

For one, the offermight expire ;p Secondly, there might be some jewels waiting for you!

I'll have to wake up early in the morning to sneak out with the car again. Hopefully my parents are off to work and there's one car left for me to use. Hoping it's worth it, since the boxes he showed me were mainly full of LOTS and LOTS of multiples of some cars. Fingers crossed! :nervous:

Edit: I know people would like to get the MB Ford Escort...trade anyone? :sly:

Finally the dw car is mine! After dishing out a sweet 5$ , oh and i got caught up on my collection
i got the Ferrari Italia spider, Toyota tundra, the boxer ,the green cuda, and spin king, only 17 cars left , Guys keep a eye out for the BAT ,I also couldn't find kit for some reason or the BMW race car =( PS the Mazda furai can be found everywhere!

Not really. Why no pic of blister pack? :p

Because it isn't. The really expensive one is the all-blue card of the 90s, his blister pack has a lighterblue color.

Another long post from me with my latest ebay purchase

Very cool even if they are dying lol, I almost want you to sell me the Husky camper and Citroen, and the Escort Mexico 👍

Well...I guess I just can't stop!

Very goodgrab, that RS200! Also,if he said he'dbring the boxes over, I dunno why you are thinking about it, sneak away and go get them!

Sorry Cano they are not for sale. I do have another lot of Superkings and some more rough Lesneys coming off ebay and Im going to the the local flee market today so I might have some more pics for you today

Medigo, your hauls never ceases to amaze me. Just wow. 👍

Last time I was at Walmart, I did find couple of cars I was mildly interested in. Since I can't find any Furai, Wheldon, or CR-X, I decided to get them:

IMG_0737.jpg

Two models I was interested in was the Adam West Batmobile & Boulevard VW Type 181.

Edit: I forgot, I also bought Mystery Car #7 "'92 Ford Mustang". My buddy's favorite car, he had to sell when he got married. Same color & everything, so I got it for him.
Still think it's funny, you and your sneaky ways.
It is totally out of control.

Gosh, do you guys always have to tease me over my issue with my parents... :guilty:

The thing that worries me about taking the time to visit the vendor who offered bringing several boxes is that they may just be more of the same... He mainly had early 2000s items (No Veyron! :grumpy:) I suppose the stuff he had at the flea market were multiples due to his belief that they would sell well? I can only hope he has some good stuff later on. I think he said about four boxes of stuff? :odd: Don't really know why I was thinking about it then. :p

Where are people finding these Batmobile cards, I know they've been out for a while at Walmart, but mine never had any. :(

Sorry, Medigo. We tease you, because we love you. ;)

I found the Batmobiles in one of those dump bins separated into six, or maybe eight secitions? They were all squirt gun type summer toys, except after I had given up on the hot wheels, I caught the dump bin in the isle on the way to the sporting goods section.

After I was done, couple of really older ladies who were giving me dirty looks were rummaging through them. They were also cutting open random palletized cardboard boxes in the isles as well. Strange.

Check the ends of all the isles in the toy department at Wal-Mart. The Batman cars are in a sidekick (blue cardboard display) usually at the end of an isle.

No teasing, I'm just worried for you when your parents discover this epic stash of cars what they are going to say.

If that ever happens and you have to sell them, hit me up, I'll take some off your hands

/greedy pig

Opportunist.

I went looking around for the Furai & the Hot Ones CRX today. I found these on sale instead:

It 🤬 me off, because I don't even like these Batmobiles. Only one I ever liked was the 1989 Michael Keaton Batmobile.

I just missed out on the regular scale one on eBay a few weeks ago, and prices have skyrocketed since. Within days it went up! I don't even know how that's possible, as the car's been out since 2004, I think. They had every Batmobile except the one I'm looking for, very typical for anything anymore. Greenlight, Vintage Racing, Hot Wheels, Hot Ones, etc. Tons of stuff, except that one you want. :ouch:

Anyway, I don't know why, but this car cheered me up during my search today, so here's another pic of the Hot Ones Zombot:

It's so retarded, it makes me laugh.

Unfortunately there are no little end cardboard displays. The ends are taken up by random shelves with summer beach toys. :( It's not really a big deal for me, but I'd like to find some of them.

If I do have to sell them (which I hope not...) hopefully you'll pay enough to fund my next real car. :p

Go to franks and sons some guy has over 80 furais for a dollar.
he also has almost every single hot ones that has come out so far MULTIPLE amounts of them, I personally have most of the originals in there box so i don't buy them but really if you live in southern calli stop by the place, Oh and hes not a scalper he orders boxes from Mattel *hence why he sells for cheep*

They're not out juuusst yet, but it's looking to be a big N-O :indiff: Main reason behind this, apart from the fact that Bigfoot doesn't really licence our there trucks anymore, is that Hot Wheels makes all of the Monster Jam trucks, and Bigfoot has no involvement/affiliation with Monster Jam.

Here's a photo from the RLC "Sneak peaks" section.

Medigo, dude you never fail to impress me with your finds on the late 90's and 2000s cars and bringing back memories. 👍

And I knew you won't stop, just like A6. That's the HW bug spreading the addiction.

R1600Turbo
Still think it's funny, you and your sneaky ways.

Madertus
^lol'd, exactly

Medigo, give it a try and feel like a ninja ;)

Ninja Stance!!! Just joking Medigo. I know how it's feels when you parents may think about your collection. My parents are the a little bit similar to yours, but they are ok with it.

I got busted in the mall after I stuffed them between my new shoes and then in San Diego when I was looking at one of my prized finds, but they gave me a lecture about saving for my car and I always say in defence that they are cheaper compared to model cars and figures. Just a lecture and that's it. But at least they are cool about me buying them, but they call bullcrap scales of the real ones and me defending my precious 1:64s. Even my brothers make fun of my cars regardless of scale, but I still collect even since we made a bet that I will stop buying them when I was 17.

Hey guys, do you think a Hot Wheel car can even score with chicks? I was thinking of a good way to use them or a scale as a pickup line. Next time I'm shopping around in the malls. Need advice.

@Frog: Show me some pics bro. :p

No deal, Lego Frog... I'd say yes if you wanted an M3 earlier since I could grab another one, but I probably can't unless I go to the Toys R Us downtown.... which won't be happening until September at the earliest.

Knew the Woodie was too good to be true. Bases don't lie. Lol. Still a nice find, though.

My local Toys'R'Us had some errors that I missed the first time I checked the new shipper.

Three all red front wheel Challengers.

And Elenor with a pushed up interior. Found three, bought one.

The man who offered to bring four boxes was only able to bring two, but they were substantial. Not much time to list them, but I'm sure people here would know their cars. The vendor told me that he'd bring in the last two next weekend, if not the weekend after that. The problem I have is that both my parents might be working ONLY on this weekend, there's a possibility I won't be able to go for a while. :( Afterwards I decided to check out the vendor that sold me the CLK-GTR 1:18 and several recent Hot Wheels and he had a WHOLE lot more! There was a container in the back that had the Fourth of July Saleen S7 (Want!) and two Holiday Datsun 240Zs (Want more!). Unfortunately when I got there he had only just purchased them off of someone else...so he told me he'd sort through them and figure out prices and then to come next weekend to buy them. :indiff: Enjoy the stuff I got, hope they're good for you guys! :D

Nice 442. I have always like the green Chevelle on white wheels. The thing's paintjob and stance looks awesome.
