Thanks guys. That Boulevard Porsche is a must-have for me also. Today, I saw one that was called "Copper Stopper". I showed my new found 'restraint', and didn't get it. Kicking myself now. I also saw that Classic Packard that was in Medigo's video? Now I guess I got three I must have. P.S. I still can't find Furai, Wheldon or CRX. Not worried about it though, I'll find one soon!

Hi guys, been a while since I posted here.... In South Africa - we're just getting the J assortment - a few stores have broken them - but in my part of the country, it'll probably take a couple weekes before we get them. Note though - we get "broken" batches - meaning we got A, B, C, D, F and now J! So we missed out on the orange 2002, black RX7 and such cars - but no we're getting the recolours - so i guess that makes up for it! Anyway - I've been reading tha last few posts and see that some of the guys are having a hard time finding certain cars - like the black GT2, which is all over the place here - I even have an error one with no tampos! Also - Treasure Hunts - is it difficult to find them in the states because of the scalpers or is it that theres just too many people into the hobby? Here - we get at least a TH per box. Just recently, we had the 52 Chevy tHunt in the previous batch - i already have 2 and i left behind a good couple as well! On our local hot wheels collector forum, almost everybody has that thunt - and in duplicates! Now, within a day of the new stock - guys are already reporting finding the Malibu THunt.... What I'm getting at is - howcome a coutry like ours has an abundance of these "hard to find" cars, but the home of the Hot Wheels has a hard time?

But great finds by the way. I'm loving the old Matchbox cars .

Edit: Just noticed how many they've sold already. It's amazing to me what people will pay to have stuff "NOW!!!" instead of waiting a couple weeks and buying them in the store for 1/4 the price.

Yep, patience does work many wonders than rushing.

But I going to keep a good eye on this Porsche along with the GNX and a few others.


@Balandeva: I know right? It's strange that other places get the "hard to find" cars, but the US and other countries as well, it feels like you have to comb the whole continent just to find one car.

Edit: no the price on texas dicast isint a typo , i bought the car in a heart beat since i had seen teh price on the hw collectors guide from 1980 and up five years ago,

Wow I have alot of catching up to do. before I keep looking at the thread had to chime in on this #1131 classic woodie and not the first run blue card.

Several tells.
1. no 51 in lower right corner.
2. no speed points under the car.
3. card is not "blue" but more of the teal indicative of late 80s card.

So mystery solved. You have a #1131 woodie.

(sorry if it was solved before I'm pages behind!)

Btw: The rarest blackwall era car (in terms of production and known #) would be the Cadbury range rover. The car is a pre production for the blue card range rover we all know. the lot of them were shipped during the height of the gulf war and subsequently lost somewhere in the middle east. I've seen a couple on eBay in the last year and they are a grand in the baggie andseveral hundred loose whereas without the package and speed points, this woodie loose is worth just a couple bucks

I'm keeping an eye out for the variations on the Boss Mustang (wrong casting) and the Hemi Cuda (smooth rear window). Haven't found any yet though.

Thanks for offering, but I'm not sweating over that one just yet. For some reason, locally, any premium line hot wheels seems to be slow arriving outside the Boulevard series. When I picked up the F40 & Zombot, they were the only newer Hot Ones I've seen so far. I'll start seeing them around soon enough.

And now for the big one, a Shelby Collectables Cobra.

Superb. 👍 Along with Greenlight, I only see them at Toys R Us. I wasn't a big enough fan of Shelby or Cobra to get one, but it's a beautiful piece. 👍

I'd say both, but it's hardly scientific.

Visited the open flea market for my last two boxes from the man. Turns out, he bought three more before I got there! Here's what I got from him. He offered again to email me if he gets any more boxes.

Went to the indoor flea market to find a graduation present for my friend, of course had to look for more.

Not much time to list them since I will be going to my friend's graduation party soon. Enjoy! Notable ones would be the Quattroporte, Ram (Found my childhood toy!), 250 GTO, Viper, etc etc.

The 930 with 7 spokes!!!!! Dude,take GOOD care of that car and see if someone could tell you it's value. I had NEVER seen one, and it's not even listed in South Texas with thosewheels (your would be the 1996 release).I'd dig a bit on that car, it's not common at all.

What I really like is that 2008 first edition ford mustang race car, i have all variations but that one! And it looks the best to!

It seems like Medigo's flea market delivers every time. Some really cool cars in there. I don't even like the newer Vipers, but that red ACR's money in the bank. 👍

Yea that vipers nice , I have a few *since i love vipers* but man did they botch those cars , the decals for the hood and lights are bad on all of them XD
And that guy above who asked that i give him the woddie , sure if you trade me something of equivalent value of around 5$ *its ten in the box but the box is kinda not in perfect shape*
I also have a mustang and a Vw bug also valued at 10$ but im selling them for 5 =D oldies but goodies I tell yha!

Nice gets. I actually just traded for two of those white California's with the 5SP wheel variation. Can't wait till they come in!!! Traded for lots of cars on HWC.com recently. Will post pics when they all get here. Only errors and variations, just how I like it.

Some nice cars by Otaku-san, but who makes that Supra? Is it also a Maisto?

And I've been through the new Batman series Ben just completed, but it 🤬 me off, because they seemed to have done every frigging Batmobile, except for the one I want. Same with the 1/50-series I encountered. As far as I'm concerned, that 1989 Michael Keaton was the only Batmobile, so it really ticks me off that I'd have to pretty much get the 2004 model on eBay to get the one I want!

picked up a couple more at Prestige Hobbies.

Picked up a Yellow 250GTO (love the car, and i had to have it after i saw Medigos), finished off the LIW collection with a loose (dammit) 8 series, a loose MR2 Rally with a craptastic paint job and my fav....

A Matchbox Premiere FD in yellow! Aside from the rubber tires and extremely wide mesh wheels it comes complete with full light tampos and...

a very detailed interior. The seats are colored in realistic colors (i guess that's how i'd describe it) and the steering wheel is done up in two different colors! Plus the box is amazing!

I have the 3000GT of that Matchbox series, but RX-7 do look sleeker. 👍
