Tomica No. 107 Lexus ISF CCS-R:

Now that's a IS-F! Now I gotta find one or two and put some better wheels and lower it. Real jelly on this one.👍

I like how you think, but you'll probably never get to it. Just like me. :P

P.S. Where do you get the screws again? To attach the cars back together?

I can wait for the HW Toyota 2000GT :P.

I don't know about attaching the cars back, I usually think that you use the rivets that come with the car could be used.

So since it's the 29th, I think it's safe to post a group pic of all the HWs, MBs and other 1:64s I bought in 2012. (Ignore the Amemiya FD, I wasn't thinking when I put it in the pic.)

Once they were all out, I decided I wanted to keep my favorites of the year out on the desk, and this happened:

Nice collection. Even though you said to ignore the FD, I couldn't. That JGTC RX-7 is sweet, gotta find those Muscle Machines JGTC cars one day.

a6m5
Out of the three Muscle Machines or whatever JGTC cars, one of them I sold on eBay, one's on hold for Cano, but Amemiya RX-7 is the one I decided to hang on to. I saw pics on Bing with doors that open and everything, it's badass. 👍

Now this is more proof that I need to get some! I seen them in stores, but I had a limit on buying or was broke when I want to buy one :ouch:. I also seen 1:24 scales of the JGTC cars too. From what I remember, they had the Calsonic R34 GT500, Takata Dome NSX, Castrol Mugen NSX, Motul Pitwork Z33GT and a few others.

Ah, that makes sense. 👍

Yep, I wouldn't just hog all of the 2000GTs from others. If I saw 5 in the store, I would get 2 or 3 of them and leave the rest for anyone to pick up. I have 5 Hako Skylines and 911 GT3s, but I got them slowly at a time, not all in one time.

Because I came in early enough to get the good 2012 Hot Wheels and just in time for the great 2013 cars and serieses from many of the manufacturers.
I dunno, I like my timing. :yuck:

Oh ok, now I see what you were saying. I got back in 2008, even though I still brought them in 2003, but I was into model cars, so my HW money went to bigger scales.

I have some cars from 2007-present HWs in my collection though. So I would say for five years I'm back to collecting 1:64s.

R1600Turbo
MINE.

I get mine at a hobby store. You can also get them from Micro-Mark I believe.

Thanks for the info Jason. I alway thought you still use the rivets. 👍

@Ben: I like that set you got. Nice find dude. 👍

Is that the only one you're in need of?
Not even close! I can get one on eBay for $9, but I'm willing to wait a bit for that one. Priorities, priorities.....

:dopey:

Phil: Yeah, micromark.com. On the JGTC cars, I'm just gonna open that RX-7 one day. Unless they skyrocket in value or something. :P

Man you guys are really making me need to go dig up the rest of the Muscle Machines JGTC cars now. GF and I have to stay with my parents for a while starting next month, for however long it takes until we've found good jobs in the area, so I'll have plenty of time to go looking. I just hope they're not all broken in a box somewhere...

Looks like there's a carded RX-7 on eBay for $15 right now, by the way.

I don't know about attaching the cars back, I usually think that you use the rivets that come with the car could be used.

Negative, once the original rivets are drilled they are toast. In fact any rivet is toast once it's been used. Where did you hear you can re-use rivets? :P

Like....now.

I sold the Supra I got from you other day for $9. Not yet. Not yet. :P

Besides, it's a nice one. I wanna keep it anyway!
You probably want one carded huh?
Why, do you want to trade yours? I'd pay more for the carded one, but I'm not picky as long as it's in fair condition. I'd be interested in sale or trade!

Oh yeah, it's in perfect condition. I'd definitely be interested in a trade.
But let's discuss this at a semi-later time when I get my trade/sellable cars in order. :)

Awesome. Let me know when you get the list together. Hopefully with pics. ;)

Um, er...

👍

5 Hakosukas? I have none. Just had a look on TradeMe (NZ's eBay) and there's none there, only Ken and Meries, which I do have. Typical.

Kyosho 1:64 Lamborghini Jota SVR:

Engine: 3929cc V12 normally-aspirated with 6-Weber carburetors; approximately over 400 HP

Transmission: 5-speed manual

Layout: Mid-engine rear wheel drive

0-100 KM/H: 4.2 seconds

Top Speed: 315 KM/H

Lamborghini created the one-and-only Jota to comply in the Appendix "J" of the racing regulations. However, this car has been short-lived as it had been totally wrecked in an accident. But this legend was soon heard by loyal customers, and hence demanded the car company to make Jotas to be sold on public. Lamborghini was in financial peril, though, and initially turned away customers who wish to convert their Miuras into Jota-spec models. Due to strong demand, however, Lamborghini produced a small number of Miuras that have the same specifications as the original Jota. These were the SV/J and the SVR. The difference between those two cars can be easily noted, with the SVR having a rear wing.

These faithful replicas of the original Jota are a very rare sight on the road.

Just what a Miura needs, a rear wing to make the front-end even lighter than it already is.

Well here are my most recent ones:

Got this 9 pack for Christmas.:D Frankly, it still puzzles me why they released 9 packs this year instead of 10 packs.:odd:

'32 Ford. Just when my honesty for handing back that $15 couldn't go any further, I got this!:dopey:

Went to a different Wal Mart and found these:

Finally managed to get that Mars Rover after all this time!:) This was the only one on the pegs!:scared:

Months have passed since the Mars Rover and the Minion Pig were released and I still haven't seen either of them in my local Wal Mart I regularly go to.:ill: Wouldn't ya'll say my local Wal Mart sucks?👎

Edit: Reuploaded since I no longer need Photobucket.

I took apart that same Deuce a few days ago for the engine.
I'm kinda regretting it as I like that one quite a bit.

Walmart's hit & miss. Still better than most stores I frequent.

I've seen like one Countach on the road. Ever. Never even seen a Miura. :ouch:

I don't care if it added 15 horsepower, like the ones on lowered Civics. That does not belong there! Just look at it! :dopey:

Yea i like that casting too!:) My brother has this one as well, but with lace wheels. I also have another one that's white with flames as well. As a matter of fact i saw it on display last time i went to Kit Kringle.:dopey:

Hey a6m5, check this out!

Pretty interesting mix there. Probably will end up getting a few of those.

P.S.
Do any of you guys have a Thunder Roller you're willing to trade/sell for?

Just what a Miura needs, a rear wing to make the front-end even lighter than it already is.

That front chin spoiler that the Jota SV/J and the SVR models address the front end lift problem. Some Miura owners were the first ones who actually came up with that quick-fix solution.

Also, the spoiler's peculiar placement probably meant for pushing the entire car down for better handling.

;)

Sheriff Patrol looks really cool. Another one to add to the SP collection.
I love Snowpatrol, too. 👍

:P

Yeah, this mix looks a ton better than the initial release. Which isn't saying much.
Jealous of that Mars Rover, haven't seen that one.
If you want one, you'd pretty much have to buy one on eBay. It was kind of a rare one to start with. Even harder to find one now, at least where I live.
Hey a6m5, check this out!
That was confusing, just until I read the description. With rubber tires, that would look really good. I don't think I'd pay ten bucks for it though.
I don't care about the autograph, but that is an awesome set. Never shopped for one, but probably more than $40.
