Getting that Dream Project next week. - On a second thought, I just cancelled the order to buy something else.
Dream..... Project? Are you referring to the Lupin car?
Something tells you right, altough I'm sure at least @Nessy and @AOS- know what's up with it. Very cool car, and not as expensiuve as the Hot Wheels/Bandai thingie. I've always wanted those, but as always, the price scares the hell off me.
Haven't got around to watching Lupin yet. Will get there eventually.
I only remember the show from my childhood, and even then(we are talking before some of you were born!), I remember it being really old school anime. Pretty sure I have Castle of Calegaehaeataeo on DVD(never saw it). I'll try to watch it here before too long. 👍
New Viper GTS-R for 2015.
Boy, I may have to look at this one. Game time decision!

Edit: Three cars acquired.

Hot Wheels Vintage Racing '74 Plymouth Duster "MOPAR Missile"

Kyosho Circuit Wolf/Circuit no Ookami Lotus Europa

From Walmart during lunch break, one of them weathered/rusted tow truck

LOL yup the Lupin.

And great examples of quality control fails:
I have the same bus & beetle from the right. Same frigging thing. I hope TLV pay their people lot better, because it is night & day between them & M2. Don't get me wrong, I'm one of the biggest M2 fans in here.
LOL yup the Lupin.
I figured it was the name of the Dream Tomica series or something.

Bought it at a flea market, anyone has info on this car? What is it about. Thanks.
I have a info on this car. It's frigging sweet.

That's all the info I have on the car though, other than that it's a Mustang & have Coke logos. So sorry.

Edit: Oh, wait. On the driver's side is a Houston Astros logo. Baseball team that I think used to be in the National League, now in the American League. They are no Atlanta Braves, but it's a professional baseball team.

Ah I see, as baseball wasn't a common sport around here hence I have no clue about it. My intention was to take it's wheels for other projects lolx.

I'm going with a "maybe" on that Viper. Will have to see in person first. Like anything getting the same level of scrutiny, if they never show up locally, they will be passed on.

You're missing the white one. Unless you already have it.

He might also be missing a multi-pack exclusive.

And what is with that anime-based Kyosho?

And what is with that anime-based Kyosho?

Kyosho has released, afaik, three series based over popular manga/anime series: Yoroshuki Mechadoc, Circuit Wolf, and Initial D... altough if I remember correctly, the Initial D series was not in 1:64 scale? @RCKakashi14 could shed some light on this.

I for my part have the Yoroshuki Toyota Sports 800, pretty neat little thingie.

Actually, the Kyosho 1:64 Initial D AE86 Trueno is the CHASE CAR of the Toyota Minicar Collection set.

I'll bet. I almost got my hand on that turquoise blue w/ gold decal Kenmeri by Kyosho. Seller had them in his online store, but he apparently doesn't ship anything there out of the country.

While all that's happening, I'll keep cutting off more cars from the collection.

Edit (7 hours later):

Amongst the huge lot of Designer Challenge cars I grabbed, I'm keeping a few of the original colorus carded. Also hoped that amongst the lot, there would be at least one variation/error. I was not disappointed:

I took a look at this Johnny Lightning set that I acquired years ago. I noticed that some of the bands holding the hoods shut have snapped, and I'm thinking about either cracking every car loose or just opening the pack to get rid of the remaining bands.

I bought a M2 during lunch today(Walmart, of course). I didn't want it. I didn't want it for weeks. Nobody frigging bought this thing, and I just can't figure out why. After nearly month of resisting it, I gave in today. When I post the pics, I'm sure you guys will see where I'm coming from. I wanted it, but I didn't(hint: takes more room).

I keep forgetting about that Hachiroku. Probably a good thing. :nervous:

As for the Yoroshiku Mechadoc, I did score the two cars I cared about: Celica XX(JDM Supra) & Fairlady......... Having said that, I do care about the CR-X. That was the original midship CR-X, but I wonder if Kyosho did right by the comic, or just added spoilers on the stock CR-X. Hmmm......

I had old Hot Wheels where rubber bands corroded the beautiful paint job. Ever since then, I get them off ASAP, at least when I can. :(

On storage, I can't recommend these cases enough. I used to have it free shipped to the nearest Walmart by ordering it on their website. Cars stay safe, you get instant access to many beautiful casting. They are great. 👍

Probably a good thing. :nervous:

I wish I could say the same, because when I learn of a new Kyosho model...

Indeed, 50 bucks worth of a good thing.

...I'd drop $50 for 2 kyoshos instead of one.

Don't know who still has an interest, but I started yet another layout on the blog's index page.

I am liking this a lot! No more confusing cluster grouping to save space, no more tiny "top" buttons.
Took out all the small text and enlarged the make, and gone is the need for all those table rows and columns. There's only 2 columns to deal with, and no formatting is needed for the images. That's a huge reduction on inline tags making the code page significantly easier to navigate. The absence of info will be accommodated with tool-tips. Model names will still be on the page- they just won't appear until hovered over. That said, this page will still be a PITA for non-computer users. :P

Why the hell are all the Toyota Corolla TLV's so expensive? WTF.
I have white Corolla from around 1980? I want the other two colors. Tan & red/brown, but yeah, they are like $50 a piece. Corolla from the 90's got down as low as around $40, thanks to Japan Booster on eBay, but the rear of the JDM model didn't look quite right to me, so I passed. God, I want that tan & brown Corolla!
