Where I am in the world we have like 3 different HotWheels, the silver Aventador, some purple Muscle car and a red Stingray Concept.

And I bought all 3.

I'm in Carlisle, actually.

The choice is pretty good compared to your place on this dirtball, but even still. Especially as Newcastle has loads, last time I went I found a store selling stuff like the old Happy Meals F1 cars (anyone find them for me on eBay I will be grateful, as I can't find them.)

I found out that K-mart is selling Hot Wheels for .49 each. So, being broke but addicted, what I do? I went straight to Walmart and had them price match. Got a few TH's and some older stuff.

That La Fasta has a tampo variation, flat & gloss black. Also, not sure why you buy so many, they aren't worth anything.

You guys know the two on top are the regular NISMO, and the two on bottom are the Nurburgring version, right?

I was thinking of grey as I chose matte grey in GT6. My only problem is...I wish it was more colorful. Not too sure about red. More between grey, silver, and white.

@R1600Turbo I remember seeing that on the AmiAmi website. And of course, the difference with the wing.
 
On the TLV GT-R, I have silver & gray on preorder.

Did you see those Oversteer GT-Rs on AmiAmi? Go check them out. Being committed to two TLV GT-Rs already, I likely would pass on the Oversteer, but watch me break that promise & buy one next year. Mark my words. I won't, but I will.

Bought this because I thought it was nice, now I'm not so sure. Hmmm.

Came across more VW's than this, but left a lot of them behind due to M2's usual quality issues. Tires coming off, wheels bent, windows cracked, glue fumes leaving white residue, finger prints galore, etc, etc. :rolleyes: The ones I got still are not perfect by any means, but they managed to squeak by with only minor issues.

Also found a M2 raw chase car that I obviously bought to sell on eBay. :P
 
I passed on that Camaro today. They also had simulated "rusted out" VW bus, but it was so poorly done, I passed on that, too. Also Foose Chevy Nova. Had the store still had that red/black/white bus, I'd have picked that one up.

Got these VWs in the mail, too.

I think I ordered these last September or something like that. :crazy: They are beautiful in person. Just gorgeous.

Is that what all the delay was about? I wonder what kind of problems they were running into. They've been making Drag Bus for long time. They didn't seem to experience any issues with the paint jobs on the other three castings of the series. I'm just glad I finally got them.

As far as I know. They got pre-production pieces and kept sending them back with "do it again" written all over them. Said they were not happy with the initial quality.

P.S. Which M2 chase did you get?(congrats on that, by the way).
 
Not to interrupt the discussion, but don't M2 chasers have gold chrome where the normal car has regular chrome? For example, the regular car would have a regular chrome blower, but the chaser would have a gold chrome blower?

Not always.
 
Lately, with the M2s, I've been noticing gold trims on regular chases(limited to I wanna say 2~3,000-ish). Raw(ZAMAC) on super chases(limited to few hundreds)

At my store, it looked like M2 bomb exploded. Collectors or scalpers, they 🤬 me off.
