Our favorite "M2 Machines" is good at making cars/trucks like that, but they haven't stocked anything new in my area. :grumpy:

I have troubles finding anything but the same few models with different liveries here. I wish there distribution was better.

Yeah, really stagnant. Not just M2, but almost with all other 1/64 cars. Almost always, when I see something new, it's some 🤬 up looking Hot Wheels motorcycles(designed for specific track system I believe), or those color changer cars. To sum it up: :ouch: :banghead:

How about my Pulsar NX? :p

Hey, you know me I like the oddball stuff and the Pulsar NX hits all the right buttons, I approve. 👍 The Berretta though? I can see why you like them but honestly? Meh. :p

And forgot to mention it before but that MX-5 hardtop coupe R16 posted, now that would make a truly excellent TLV model. @Niku Driver HC has the right idea, we should so be sending our wishlists into TomyTec. They could do far worse than taking idea's from us. :D

That is very true. Autoworlds are very rare here. Greenlights might as well be a myth. This state hasn't even heard of any foreign. The Hot Wheels collectors here swallow up any desirable model seemingly before they hit the selves. Even our Big Lots! stopped carrying HWs altogether. Unless you're into buying online, it's a bad time to be a collector.

I am shocked. They are both my childhood cars, but around where I live, I would get slapped for just saying their names.

I'm a fan of Miatas, but that "coupe" makes me want to vomit. Maybe bad angle, but I don't know. I am a HUGE fan of the original M-Coupe. In fact, move it to the top of the list.

Yes. Very top of my list.

Yes. Not just established hot wheel retailers slowing down, but lot other stores I used to frequent for hot wheels, they don't even carry them anymore. Perhaps the "shortage" rumor is real(due to dock disputes & incidents).

In my area, Greenlight is carried only by the Toys R Us. I sometime have luck with them, only because I have one very close to my commute.

Toys R Us here is a joke. Hobby Lobby is the only thing here that shows any bastion of hope. They carry M2's, a limited Autoworld selection, and occasionally a Greenlight out two. But there prices are double what they should be.

I've gotten so desperate for new cars that I actually bought the HW Easter cars. I felt a little dirty.

 I think there were couple of Easter cars I'd have liked, had I not been in the process of downsizing my mainline cars.

If you want to buy some mainline cars, and wouldn't mind going online, take a look at the stuff I have on TTP. Any $1(or less) cars, I have on sale for 60% off, but for you, I can probably do better. Plus, the shipping right now is $4.25 + 50 cents per additional car, but if the actual postage is lower, I'll charge you only that.

^This guy knows what a good idea looks like, we should follow his chain of thought. :D

Tomica oyabun, are you listening?

At least you live near a Toys R Us, I'm not that lucky. I was fortunate to find the shop where I bought my Sikus, and even there the choice isn't that varied. Only one supermarket in my area actually sells HW cars, and even the supermarket where my mother works does not have ANY scale cars. At all! If I want the good stuff, I have to get out of my living zone, go to further places...

'Oh boohoo, the selection of awesome american die-cast manufacturers is really poor in my area.'

We don't even get any of those brands here. :(

We have tons of stores here that carry the HWs brand. But the selection is limited to fantasy cars and other undesirables. The scalpers buy every car that is even close to cool.

We are complaining about the fact we live in an area that should have a better selection. I'm sorry that you don't. But keep in mind that you choose to start a hobby in an area that couldn't satisfy your desires. Boo hoo indeed. Either move, buy online and be happy, start a new hobby, quit the hobby, or quit whining.

And what would the scalpers consider "cool", may I ask? Mclaren P1s? Special brand Honda Civics? Stuff that I haven't heard of before?

But yes, not many stores in my area actually bother with HW cars. I only know of one that does such a thing.

I never found Datsun 510 wagon for starters. :D 510/Bluebird is almost right up there with the Drag Bus at this point. To the collectors, they look like gold, and to the scalpers, it's like dollar bills hanging on the pegs.

I am shocked.

Didn't think anything I say any more would shock you.

But it has pop up headlights! And the tail lights are '80's awesomeness.

Wrong M-Coupe, my friend.

510 wagon? Nope, never heard of it.

:indiff:

The McClaren is one. Any TH of any kind. Anything that you and I look at go, yeah I might get that.

Oh, the P1 is worth something, huh? Interesting...

Also, thanks for clarifying, knowing more about that part of HWs is always interesting.

It's not to my knowledge. But, scaplers and collectors pick them because they think it may be. I don't fully understand it, but then again, I don't fully understand the die-hard HW collectors. I'm glad that my tastes grew out of the basic line HW quite fast.

Sorry, that didn't come across the way I wanted it to. I was trying to make a bad joke. :p
I'm with you guys. I don't get Greenlight, Auto World or any premium HW cars, but even the stuff that should be stocked here isn't. You have all the right to complain. I do it often myself.

First, the Greenlight 1956 Ford F-100 Firestone

three cars from the lot I received from Andy. While it was initially just solely about the Kyosho Beads Kenmeri Skyline, certain CM's absolutely stole the show.

Kyosho Beads Nissan Skyline KPGC110 Racing

CM's Lancia Delta HF Integrale(always one of my faves)

Lastly, a gem, as far as I'm concerned: CM's Fiat 131 Abarth Rally

Got. Dam. Unbelievably impressive for a 1/64 scale. Thank you so much, @AOS-

I'm happy to know the stuff arrived! Will you be getting those antennas on 'em or am I the only one who ever does?

I never do, but I'm not gonna lie, I've been considering the exception for the Fiat. I put antenna on just one car, ever, and it is the 'beater' F-Toys Isuzu Bellet(always parked inside that Shell gas station garage).

The Hot Wheels Vintage Racing version of the Posey Challenger is actually a pretty nice example...
And the Greenlight, too. John! Your "maybe" all-time favorite car!(from your TLV wishlist)
Get an M2 Vintage line going? You get M2Vs.
M2's a different animal. Greenlight & Auto World is more equipped for such job.

I counted my collection. I realize that some people turn to food when they're stressed. I turn to cheap toy cars.
