Those Bentley's are sweet @RCKakashi14 👍

I wish manufacturers would put as much effort into 1:43 these days as they seem to be doing with 1:64. It's like the most focused on scales seem to be dropping with every year from 1:18 downward over the last 2 decades!

As far as I know, Kyosho also makes Bentleys in 1:43 scale. Go to their Japanese website, and check the catalog.

There has been a market for high-end 1:64s lately, and Bentley decided to join the fray by entrusting their cars to be replicated by the likes of Kyosho.

I had a look and although they do the price jump is quite staggering, go about half bigger and the price for 1:43 is like 4 times higher. :indiff: As the focused scales change so does the affordability of the other scales.

Hi.. I'm Sebastian and iv been clean off hot wheels for about 4 hours..

Bentley Continental Supersport.
I skipped this over and over, finding models I thought were better, cooler, more interesting. I shouldn't have. Bentley is not a brand I really like.. but I don't dislike them either. They make me laugh, cause they build 4 sec 0 to 60 limos basically. This casting is nice, though I would have rather had the tampos on the sides be gone and had head and taillights. But I really like this one overall. More than I expected to.

2015 F150 (red)
As much as I dislike Ford, I really like the new design for the f150, hence the 2 trucks. Had the silver for awhile now. I think I would love this casting in white, as I think the detailing would stand out better. The red looks better overall, but the details are better seen on the silver. Should get the new matchbox Chevy to go with it. Anybody making a new Ram casting?

Corvette Roadster and C6 Corvette.
I sat undecided if I wanted these ones for weeks. I hate the other version of the roadsters, the yellow and blue. The C6 is the first Vette since the 70s to catch my interest, but I dislike team hotwheels duds. But generally I'm happy with both. Actually the roadster is probably my favorite Vette in my collection.

All teh Vettes

99 Mustang.
So just to get it out of the way now. I hate this generation of mustangs 97 percent of the time. Saleens and Roush, plus the Cobra R are reallly the only ones I like. They have just enough crazy to make me like them. This casting however, makes me mad. It's a car I dislike, but I still want semi accurate portrayal. The rear is too skinny, especially the lights. Makes it look squished. Basically picked it up to fill in this generation of mustang. Only missing a very first gen, a mustang 2 and an 2005 gen Mustang.

So last but not least, I thought I'd start showing off some of my favorite models in my small collection.

Starting with this.

IMAG0430_1_1_zpsd40a64a5.jpg~320x480

Honestly, I'm unsure how I feel about this car. The idea of trying to make a new vehicle as iconic as the Cobra, to me was doomed in the first sketch. You just can't capture that same essence a second time. I find it a generally pleasing car to look at, and I can see traces of the Cobra in it, but I think that it should have been it's own thing...

However, if I were to ever own one, this is exactly how it would look. This is a 2015 mystery pack, unsure which set, the one with the gold corvette on it (it's a trap, the vettes a dropped top, or whatever they call it. Don't get it). I grabbed one of these just as a hey this looks nice. It was honestly probably one of the best extras I grabbed. The Matte black and gold stripes look amazing. It's such a clean and precise design. I love the color scheme immensely. Iv never seen a better looking one, and iv legitimately seen one of these in real life. And the wheels, while not my first pick, still look awesome. Iv tempted the idea of getting another just to do a swap to real riders. But yea. This thing.. I love it.

The wheels are off, worst HW casting ever made.

Nah, I'm merely jesting, the Time Machine is great stuff, and it's good to see a scale model of it. 👍
Here's my question. If it becomes a retro entertainment.. or should I say when, what will make it premium? the metal base? Or will the sideways wheels be rubber?

Custom 12 mustang now in 9 packs View attachment 352458
And the Ford Ranchero in the bottom middle column, pretty sure that's a j case car

Got awesome new stuff..

Starting with Hot wheels.

Yes, a batmobile. Normally I don't collect these. My sister however does. She brought home one and I was interested in it, mainly due to the chrome and yellow looking so good. So I bought my own, since she keeps her batmobiles blistered. She only collects them because batman. I really like it, as far as colors go. It is cool, even if I don't normally like it. It is a bit too far out of the realm of normal for me.

Mystery Models Boneshaker.
This is one of those fake hot rods they make, that I usually like but leave hanging. Felt like I should have at least one. And I dig the yellow on it. Kinda want to see it with front skinnies.

Mystery Models Acura HSC concept.
This, like the Shelby was a random grab that I'm overly happy I grabbed. I thought it was red, but it's a stunning orange. The flame tampo is not my favorite, but it's ok on here, doesn't really take away from it. I think even the wheels look pretty good on it.

IMAG0444_1_zpsccad3ff2.jpg~320x480

Matchbox Catarham Superlight
Its weird that I passed over this so many times. Iv watched them slowly disappear as people find them, and I just skipped it. It's weird because a). It's a great casting, and perfect colors. And b). I love catarhams. I love how simple and affordable they are. I love the look, and idea even. So what took me so damn long.

Greenlight.

Dodge Ram and car hauler.
I love the C10, so I had to go buy this one as well. They didn't have any others at the time, or I would have got them too. The truck is a bit bigger than I thought, but actually, being a longbed king cab, almost perfect compared to the other trucks I have. The car hauler is alright, but it's plastic which bothers me, except it looks so good.

Guess I should open the trailer now.

Greenlight Cobra 427 S/C
I love cobras. So I bought this one. It's pretty nice. See

IMAG0448_1_zps100140c6.jpg~320x480

Just gorgeous. The only issue I have is I feel like the windshield is to angled. Like it comes to low. If that makes sense.

See I bought that. Then found these. I have no idea who makes them, but they're pretty nice. I guess Shelby Collectables would be the company.
IMAG0449_zpsadad636c.jpg~320x480

So let's look at the 2 427 cobras first..

IMAG0451_1_zpsea11cd25.jpg~320x480

Nice pair. They're almost exact same size. The copper one, with all the extra details was the same price as the Greenlight. Both have little differences, but I really like both. I don't think I favor either one. Rubber tires, metal frames and bodys, nice detailing. Great castings. The only big advantage is the opening doors and hood... And honestly the gap it leaves kind of reduces the points it gets.

IMAG0452_1_zpsd2b02c0c.jpg~320x480

Finally.. my favorite of the day.. possibly week. Maybe even the month.

IMAG0453_1_zps257b0858.jpg~320x480

Shelby Cobra Daytona.
After seeing the hot wheels Daytona and considering it...lacking I was highly pleased (read: giddy like a girl on her wedding day) when I found this one. It's breathtaking.

For those of you interested, and into customizing. The Shelby Collectables, which besides the Cobras had 2 Mustangs, that I know of, a new GT350 and an Old GT500, they're held together with Philips screws like a maistio. I found them at toys r us. If anyone is interested in them and can not find them I can possibly get more. The cobras are great, the mustangs looked a little too angular to me, but I can provide photos if someone wants to see them.

Even though I don't really collect Hot Wheels anymore (I've switched to old video games), I think these are worth posting...
I have a few more, but these are the coolest ones. They're probably older than a few GTPlanet members, lol.

The angle make them hard to see, but the second one, the Gt40 I believe is pretty awesome.
