PS to all of you asking were i got my hotwheels
Back around 6th grade i took
art classes in a place next to my parents business, it was a Mexican market of sorts with three stories my class being in the middle ground level. Every saturday i would go and during the 3 hour class i would have a 15 minuet break *two* One day i got very curious and decided to go downstairs to the basement level floor, down there i found a little toy store with the guy selling hotwheels, both new and old , he sold them for 1$ with the offer of buy one get one half off , for three years i went to buy from the man , who knew me well by then and told me he had a whole storage bin full of old hotwheels from the early to late nineties that he was putting out, he often showed me the boxes first and let me pick the cars out. throughout this i found lots of rare cars that you guys widespreadly search for in this magical little place =D no think the guy had a GOLD MINE and i was getting free cars with every two cars id buy XD , One day i showed him a book of car prices and he rose the prices up and stopped selling old cars =/ crap XD

Wow.... guess what I did to mine:

Can't blame me though. Look at what my 11 year-old self did to it:

Thanks a lot, Little Andy, I could have got a lot of money from someone here if it weren't for you! :P

Why did I paint it silver? Because Concept Car in GT2.

mhm one has a black interior and the other has purple one. I just checked my hotwheels collectors guide book with prices sais 230-250$ But then again cars that are worth here 50$ i can buy for 20$ like my first edition mo scooter * got for 1$*

Honestly value books are no longer valid after they are printed. Values of cars will go up and down making them pretty much worthless. Nothing is really worth more than what someone else is willing to pay for it, so best bet is to go through eBay and check auction listings.

Edit: Is this car still mint on mind card? Because if it's loose, you can pretty much cut the value in half.

Card, What durp a derp opens the boxes..
Edit : as in a rare car =D i open boxes to but mostly only if i buy 2

I promise I'll be on the lookout for them, I'll buy them if I find them but as I might find them with second-hand dealers, they might run a little higher in price. I'll let you know when I have the blue looose one in my hands, too. ¿Do you want a Garage? I miiiiight be able to snatch one of those, but that would run a higher price, of course.

I might have to give the carded cars a miss for now Cano but Id like the loose blue falcon and the garage falcon if you can find it.

Here are my latest ebay buys first are a pair of FAO Schwarz exclusive Vipers made by Mattel

and lastly a Hotwheels Holden Commodore

I wonder if that Commodore is the one I was looking at a week or two ago. Did you end up getting the new Mystery Falcon too?

Also, someone should have bid on that old carded Chevy stock car I posted a link to a couple weeks ago. South Texas diecast site said it's worth $30 and it eventually sold for $1.03. A steal.

Don't worry when I say that the carded cars will be a bit higher in price, they are not costly at all in here, the most one could run would be the equivalent to US$2, not more in any circumstance.

Just trust me, when I have the loot I'll let you know. I've already started moving the Diecast Allocation Machine (that is, I told my buds that I need some of those) and they're on the prowl. I won't charge extra over the cost of the cars either, that would be missing the point. The hard part will be finding them.

Also, awesome Commodore, I'm still missing that one.

Granturismo 5
Hey guys I've got around 100 hot wheels cars and these are some of my best.

Left to Right: Nissan GTR, Nissan Skyline H/T 2000GT-R, Nissan GTR specV, Holden VS Commodore (MatchBox), Acura NSX, Ferrari FXX, Audi R8 2008, Saleen S7.

3 other cars not seen in first image: Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32), Nissan Fairlady Z (350Z), Nissan Silvia S15 (200SX)

EDIT: Just Realized it's bad quality. Sorry was taken on phone and it wouldn't focus due to poor lighting.

Welcome to the club! Enjoy. :D

I was glad I mentioned the flea market to my brother. Or else we wouldn't have stopped by and had a look at their stock. I was thinking to myself that there would be nothing new, but there was. Also, he helped point out some cars that I may have not noticed in there. I didn't think the Cossie was that special. A good grab for me I suppose... :D Especially the GT-R R35 in the grab bag, but also all the other cars too. Next up on the hunts list...still...the R34. :mischievous:

When did I turn into a giver, handing out MB and Hot Wheels cars? :P

Cool collection GranTurismo 5, got any more GT-Rs? ;)

Come on Medigo, share.....:P:D:lol:

Driving Park
It comes in yellow too? I have a red one!

Dang it, my birthday isn't until December. :grumpy: Well, if that gets taken I can settle for the VehiCross. Thanks Medigo! :D

Yep, I saw the VehiCross in the silver and the red, but I picked the yellow one because it matches the car. I think the yellow one is either the silver or the yellow one.

Yeah, I beat you all! Go July....... Oh wait, Medigo isn't giving it up soooo......

RACECAR
Hot Wheels: Serious 🤬?

Yes, Hot Wheels is a serious business. I feel like Tony Montana when I "sumgle" HW cars from buying them all the way to my shelves, smooth always. ;)

Also, smell a brand new HW buy paraell parking a few new cars and take a good sniff.

Manny, check the next shipment going out, then we'll strike before any of those cockaroaches hit.

Push it to the limit....

First you get the cash, then the cars, then the stores and you get the power.

Do not leave your wallet, or any valuables at Cano's house. He's sincere, but he will sincerely keep it.

If you see bunch of PayPal charges on your credit card for eBay hot wheels auctions, you know who took it. j/k

Ok thanks for the warning . j/k

You lucky................ So lucky, I'm speechless, I can't get a adjective or find a sentence to describe this.... Epic Win.

Worse thing you could do.

I agree.

Thanks for that Cano. I guess i will have the carded cars. Im used to the inflated prices over here I have seen the regular falcons going for over $30 for one.

In here no one knows what the hell they are, most people said they don't remember the Falcon ever looking like dat (we had the american Falcon for the entirety of its production), and when you explain the car is australian they raise their eyebrows. But they don't care at all for the car.

Thanks, Jason! Though I don't recall ordering confetti. :P yeah, spare me the confetti next time; the cars are already protected by blisters and cardboard. I'll request package protection if I want it.

dsc01114ak.jpg

Never seen any of these here yet... Will probably never find the 80's series nor Dan Wheldon.

Just waiting on Medigo's stuff now.

Yeah sorry, it came with a couple cars I bought off eBay so thought I would recycle it. :P

You callin' me a blue bin?!

kidding.

I honestly don't remember ordering the HW-1.... sort of don't remember. Are they still a lot of the 80's decades?

Threw in the Weldon car. :)

The day I bought the 80's car I found 4 of them, only bought 2. Haven't seen any more since.

Agreed, what?

Stop supporting the scalpers and just wait for them to hit the pegs.

Awesome stuff sent from R1600! Very jelly over that GT-R R34... :P

Just won a giveaway from RaceGrooves!!! This is actually my first ever giveaway that I've ever won!

No idea what he will send me, but I believe he always messages the winners of them and asks what they may like. And yes, I am a subscriber to him and enjoy his videos. :sly:

Have you guys seen how much Wheldon car has been going for? It's as much as the Super Treasure Hunt, or higher.

Anywho, my eBay stuff came in today. They consist mostly of Greenlight & Johnny Lightning, and they are nearly all loose. All from one seller:

Nicely detailed cars that I was actually going for.

CRX I got for heck of it.

My favorite one. With, or without the top!

My interest has been shifting from Hot Wheels/Matchbox to Greenlight/Johnny Lightning/M2 cars, lately. I have another lot coming from the online store. I should be able to post them here next week!

Go to hell A6m5. Very cool. You should also look into Hot Wheels 100% line, if you dig the detailing in the Greenlights/M2s you'll also find those attractive.

LOL the scalpers have hundreds of cars so I doubt there scalping
any how the Dan Weldon cars going for around 15-20$ not bad! * most tresure hunts are 2-5$ were i go buy em.. super treasure hunts are 15-40$ unless they just came out tops is 25$
Edit there not rare at all im seeing people sell hand loads of them for $$$

The Dan Weldon cars are NOT a TH, and are far from rare. People can't find them because the hoarders are taking them all and trying to hock them off on people through eBay for ridiculous prices. :yuck:
