That's to Canada. Dimensions a from a short card HW BTW.

$10 sound about right TBH. I can send it in a padded envelope if you really want to save on it. Car's still in the blister.

Nah, $10 is a bit too high for me. I don't care about the blister, it'll probably be ripped open as soon as I get it. :D

What would you want for it anyways?

Great shots BTW. Loving the angle.

Phil: Yeah, micromark.com. On the JGTC cars, I'm just gonna open that RX-7 one day. Unless they skyrocket in value or something. :p

Micromark? Gotcha, ;)👍

Who knows, but if I had that FD GT300 I would say 🤬 this, I'm opening him up! Worth more to me than the $$$$...... Unless, there's a spare one in your collection.

Negative, once the original rivets are drilled they are toast. In fact any rivet is toast once it's been used. Where did you hear you can re-use rivets? :p

Like....now.

Nowhere, I have wondering how on earth after you opened a HW, you re-use the rivets? Until I heard about the tiny screws.:dunce::p

5 Hakosukas? I have none. Just had a look on TradeMe (NZ's eBay) and there's none there, only Ken and Meries, which I do have. Typical.

Do your local stores and within your city have 2011 HWs? If they do, you need to frequent the stores sometimes and keep looking online also, anything can show up.

Kyosho 1:64 Lamborghini Jota SVR:

Engine: 3929cc V12 normally-aspirated with 6-Weber carburetors; approximately over 400 HP

Transmission: 5-speed manual

Layout: Mid-engine rear wheel drive

0-100 KM/H: 4.2 seconds

Top Speed: 315 KM/H

Lamborghini created the one-and-only Jota to comply in the Appendix "J" of the racing regulations. However, this car has been short-lived as it had been totally wrecked in an accident. But this legend was soon heard by loyal customers, and hence demanded the car company to make Jotas to be sold on public. Lamborghini was in financial peril, though, and initially turned away customers who wish to convert their Miuras into Jota-spec models. Due to strong demand, however, Lamborghini produced a small number of Miuras that have the same specifications as the original Jota. These were the SV/J and the SVR. The difference between those two cars can be easily noted, with the SVR having a rear wing.

These faithful replicas of the original Jota are a very rare sight on the road.

Nice. It's a unique Lambo I have to say. And when I mean "unique", that spoiler.

McZachenF1138
Just what a Miura needs, a rear wing to make the front-end even lighter than it already is.

Hmmmm.... Wonder if it gives out 500hp...

McZachenF1138
I laugh at this every time. :dopey:

👍

We have that video posted up in the RICErs thread in the auto section. Check it out sometimes, the stories and videos of complete morons in our world doing facepalm tactics and theories.

RCKakashi14
That front chin spoiler that the Jota SV/J and the SVR models address the front end lift problem. Some Miura owners were the first ones who actually came up with that quick-fix solution.

Also, the spoiler's peculiar placement probably meant for pushing the entire car down for better handling.

;)

Well, if it's for the pursuit of aero design, especially in the 70's and 80's, heck the 90's cars had some weird engineering of the use of spoilers and airdams.

The Chaparral 2J, Batram F1, Vector W8 TT, Countash, GT90 and many more. Even the X1 and DeltaWing of the 21st Century! Strange in auto art, but beautiful in science and technology in auto tech.

Yeah, I know, I figure as much, but that still doesn't stop me from having a slight glimmer of hope. :)

Hey, in this world of HW collecting, you have to have some kind of hope. Finding certain cars, especially $THs, is like a living nightmare, especially those 🤬 scalpers!

I have been looking for the SRT GTS Viper for a long time, ask everyone here, they will tell you. But around the Xmas holiday, I finally found it in a grocery store way in the back of the pegs :D.

So you have to keep something inside you saying "You'll find that car soon.", but I have found alot of other cars, even some rarer cars too. ;)

McZachenF1138
Garage cars, an M3, a 512, a TH and two $THs. I don't think so.

A E30 M3 and a few others, WTF?!

Is this guy in his 20s or something? Because if he is, he needs a "long talk" a nice knuckle sandwich. Don't tell me, he is around our age group.

@RT16: You still have that GT40 from the Garage series? How does it look like? I can take either a pic or a description.

What would you want for it anyways?

Your life, your wife, and your limited-edition military-knife.

We can always trade, or I can sell you a bunch of crap I have. But I'm bundling those with a bunch of crappier mainlines so it'll make my future listing more tempting to buy.

There was probably another 3 or 4 BRATs, but I didn't want to buy a ton if there were worthless, which they aren't after looking on eBay... :trouble:

I'll grab them for you the next time I go, which could be tomorrow. Other than that, I may not be going again. If anyone wants any BRATs, Supras, Rampages, El Caminos or whatever else is in that case of Hot Ones, better let me know soon ;)

I traded for one, should be in my mailbox any day now.

And screw you and your Supra. Edit: MEEEEEEEE = Supra

Just a Supra and a BRAT for me, please. Dunno if it comes in that case but if you stumble upon one of these, I'll bite too:

When I saw this, I somehow thought I'd be able to afford it. .____________.

Very nice though. I'm not sure if you could go out and buy the stuff to build that for $100.

I think that will depend on how much detailed pieces you want. Large pieces like building walls and the ground can be made without a lot of effort. If you wanted the poles to have the lamps, then you'll need to work a bit. If you want them to light up, then that's 3 times the amount of work.

Am I the only one whose stores have been totally wiped out for the past few weeks (Since just before xmas)? Target, TRU, etc, none of them even have one car per peg right now. TRU had about 30 cars total when I was there yesterday.

When everyone elses Target's were getting new cases with the Flintstones car, mine got an old case from last year and last time I scanned a car on the price scanner it said they had none in the back.

My Walmart last stocked with old stuff too. I suspect they are waiting for their BOD to get lower so they can put the rest of those cars on the pegs, which means nothing but peg warmers for the foreseeable future.

So about that 458 Spyder....

701935_486825918030069_1337238935_o.jpg

I'm tempted to add the 458 to my Recolour Blacklist.... but I just thought of a way right now how to make it look less atrocious. Photo was stolen off Lamley Facebook btw.

I was already working on one of my FTEs where I sand off the bit that joins the spokes together at the rim of the wheel. It creates a 10 spoke wheel with thinner spokes than the 10SP.

Wow..... AOS & Team Canada's just kicking ass now......
I can send it in a padded envelope if you really want to save on it.
SVXs cars, shipped in an envelope from AOS in Canada.

makes me want to punch that guy in the face.
 Don't freak out Jason, it's just one guy. It's not a trend or anything.
I can probably score one of those.

Same, including Walmart. I guessed that there were shortages this holiday season.
