Shocking turn of events. Race just got more interesting.
 
Well...someone's spotter needs to be fired.

As for the cause of this yellow, refer to this comment I made last week:

"Aleshin in a DOOM car. Fitting"
 
So I haven't watched much Indycar since 1993, but I'm guessing "unsafe release" isn't really a thing here?
 
Alex Tagliani is leading with Alexander Rossi and Helio Castroneves rounding out the top 3. Things are about to get "cray cray" as someone not wise once said. :lol:

That happened because Helio had a clear exit line and was able to gain ground on exit.

Could have been very bad, Could not imagine if that guy had got hit, would hope he would have only got tossed onto the car and not pinned to the wall. Regardless. It didn't happen, so all is well. 👍

As for the rain, small cells forming to the West and North of the track. Moving South-East Very well could see rain in the last 15 - 10 laps of the race.

Told you guys Helio's car looked fragile, although it's not the wing something is coming off
 
No last lap Sato heroics this year.
 
Hildebrand contact caused Helios car to break
 
I predict...that Tony Kanaan wins this race and gets his second Indy 500 victory.
 
Townsend back on the lead lap for the moment, hopefully a quick caution happens
