2.03 will probably add full damage, all standards converted to premiums, time&weather on all tracks, 10 free cars and all the tracks that everyone wants :dopey:

Someone's optimistic. 800 new premiums... :dunce:

If the feedback section is anything to go by, then we may be seeing an E30 M3.

I think they need to bring back the 800 degree wheel turning from GTHD, it just looks a lot more realistic than this......90 degree(?) crap we have now, it looks HORRENDOUS!

I read every response to this thread, and there were only one or two comments about the tire wear. It just seems illogical to me that after a year they make such a huge change to affect how cars are driven. Not happy with it at all.

So I guess I'd like them to undo this. The change doesn't make sense to me.

Who Complains about Gas millage when talking about Performance cars..... and as far as i know... A TVR Speed 12 is horrible on turns....

That car only had one purpose in its life...

It should include Manufacturer suits (Racing Suits you wear in Arcade mode), manufacturer races that reward Manufacturer Tickets/Paints/Museum Cards.

Add DLC cars to AI so we can race against them.

Yea, I stand corrected on the Mustang comment now because I remember MotorTrend pitting it against an M3 and barely losing within tenths of a second around the track. Pretty impressive performance to say the least.👍

Not really? The Mustang has 1 litre more capacity but only the same BHP as the M3.

"The M3's 4.0-liter carryover makes 414 horsepower at 8300 rpm and 295 pound-feet of torque at 3900 rpm. The Mustang's all new 5.0-liter V-8 cranks out 412 ponies at 6500 rpm and 390 pound-feet at 4250 rpm."

This is the real difference between US cars and Euro and also Japanese. Just look at the Evo X engine. 354 BHP from a 2 litre engine.....insane. Technology etc etc.

I would also like paid arcade, choosing cars in race menu, but first a break for them!

yeah that is a great idea, as you can customize the races, circuits and put the AI level at 10 so you have a challenge.

Just a shame theres no money being earnt, having fun racing in arcade.

I'm hoping I'll be able to enter my 2011 Mini Cooper S in the Mini Championship. That was a bit of a fail on PD's part... Lol. :-)

These are just some ideas and are not official as of yet (if they ever become official at all).

How about more RM options? Only a handful of the premium models can have a racing modification performed on them. This was a huge thing for me back on GT2, and now that they bring back the option, I was so disappointed as to the extreme limitations on the RM options. I can understand why they may not be able to do this with the standard models, but come on. There are still plenty of premiums to do this with.

Also, maybe a livery editor? At least on the premiums? I can understand why they wouldn't implement this feature on the standard models. But that's some wishful thinking right there, though.

We also need more world circuits, such as Silverstone, Sebring, Road America (one of my all time favorites), and Surfer's Paradise just to name a few. I was surprised when I didn't see Sears Point (Infineon Raceway) in GT5 when it was in GT4. That course would've fallen perfectly in the NASCAR world, seeing it's an actual venue in a NASCAR season. Not to mention Twin Ring Motegi. Four different layouts right there! Spa was a great addition to an already strong line up of world circuits, but the world circuit choice just seems a little shallow when compared to other sim titles. We really do not need any more fantasy tracks, but we'll still gladly accept the ones from the previous titles (Apricot Hill, Mid-Field, Test Track, to name a few).

I've also noticed that the some of the tracks are direct imports of the GT4 models with updated textures and visuals. But the actual models themselves are the exact same from GT4. The tracks include Laguna Seca, Trial Mountain, Grand Valley, Cote d Azur, amongst others. This is a reason why they don't have weather effects. At least the world circuits need to be converted, then the fantasy tracks can be converted later.

Now, as far as the standard models go, with the latest enhancements implemented with them (the simplified interiors and the ability to change the rims) may also hint that the standards may get the premium treatment. But I wouldn't expect this for a long, long time.

Another thing, an updated ALMS roster (essentially bringing more premium LMP and GT class vehicles). And no more premium Prius models! Who races a Prius?

I don't know, just thought I'd throw that out there.

But right now, there are no official statements regarding the 2.03 update other than the Shuffle Race issue fix.

How about they fix the tire wear once and for all and give us a ''realistic'' option for the magical slipstream? Basic stuff.

How about they just fix the damn servers. That's all I ask for. Come on PD, just do it.

From the idea above, I just suggested to Kaz, via Twitter, that he add the RM option to more cars. Like 75% would be better than 5%.

Rumor says that a track that is already in the game will be unlocked.

Weak is for Mario kart 64. I want ''r e a l i s t ic''.
Its description reads "[...] For a more realistic driving experience select 'weak' " or something similar. Admittedly, they should have called it Real as in other driving settings options.

Well they can't call it ''Real'' because it is not real. So now i'm asking them to fix it and make it real. What's so difficult to understand?

More settings online for car regulations, such as by manufacturer, one-make, year(s), etc.

Hopefully they don't fix the car restriction glitch introduced in 2.02 that allowed you to race karts or Ferrari F1s against other cars online. Good fun doing that sort of thing.

I'd rather PD fix all the bugs and glitches before even thinking about DLC.
All the updates seem to do is create more bugs. They fix 1 thing but create 2 more bugs.

would like them to fix dfgt steering lock so people could set it to they're own preference i.e.200-900 degrees of rotation depending on type of racing/drifting just like dirt 3 lol probably wont happen though.

Ok, I've said this before in other threads, and with the last update, PD did do something with oil changes, but it wasn't what was required. Oil tickets? Really? Wasted effort if you ask me, and time that could and should have been spent on something else.
What I want to see, and I could race very happily and contentedly with just this, is an oil change option added to the pre-race screen in online lounges. Right down at the bottom near where you select the car/driver options/settings. I can't count how many times I've been in a friends lounge and had to exit in order to get an oil change, then try to re-enter only to find that either a) my slot has been taken by someone else and the room is now full, or b) the server won't let me back in for whatever funky reason. It's seriously frustrating and ought to be an easy enough fix. Perhaps not, but I'd still love to see it happen.

Just was thinking...

It's a simple and small detail, but i assume easily implemented. I'd love if PD could create a rain soaked PNG ( ? ) layer to appear on the cars, when it rains. Just a simple transparent ( transluscent? ) texture wrap to maybe even fade in, gradually when the rain starts whilst on the track ? It kinda looks weird with a rain soaked windscreen but the rest of the car is without a raindrop texture, whilst it's pouring down i think.

They had it in Project Gotham Racing and it looks rather neat. :)

I love the FFB on 2.02, it makes it more rewarding to have smooth footwork and sharp reactions on the wheel. As for the tire wear, it's fine as long as you're using sport tires, or harder. But yea I agree they need to work on the wear rates for the racing tires. It's still faster to use the softs.
