Of course. Senna and Prost in '88 and '89.

Hill and Villeneuve weren't teammates when Villeneuve won in '97.
 
hmm well the race is 3 hours away, I wonder if there will still be rain then...

I don't think I could bare the tension of a really wet start, its already going to be tense enough as it is. A wet grid just throws up that extra bit of uncertainty. :scared:

Yeah, I wouldn't have any problems with him returning next year, though he was the one who started the whole "Alonso brake-tested Hamilton" thing back at Bahrain within moments of the incident happening ... so I can't say as if I'm too broken up to see him go. But he is a former racing driver, and so know the sport, which is a big plus over Allen. The problem is that when Allen gets worked up - which is generally every time there's a silver car in frame,even if it's Kovalainen - Brundle can't seem to be able to get a word in edgeways.

Except rumours with Brundle usually have some decent theory behind them rather than Allen's blind fanboyism.
I would be sad to see Brundle go, he's a trustworthy commentator despite having a few strong opinions, he has replaced Jonathan Palmer and James Hunt very well, to be fair to Brundle, he is a British commentator, and so is allowed some bias at times, just as long as its not as bad as James Allen.

I wouldn't mind seeing Blundell go, though he does have a decent insight and isn't as bad as Allen despite the awful grammar.

As for how well Allen has compared to Murray.....sorry Allen but you sounded too fake, with Murray it was pure emotion and even some strict anti-bias stances at times (such as the Schumacher 1994 incident).
It also doesn't help that the guy Murray used to go on about was a likable guy whereas the guy Allen goes on about is not so likable.

It's going to be a nail-biter - I have pushed the sofa forward a bit so I can hide behind it at the start :p

I hope both title contenders get a fair crack at the race - I'm rooting for Lewis, but Massa would also be as worthy a World Champion, and to win it on his home soil would be a remarkable thing to see 👍

I hear that there could even be thunder and lightning :scared: What a way to set the scene! You have to wonder if Massa can hold it together if there is rain during the race - if there is heavy rain, I could see both title contenders struggle, but Massa would obviously be the worst affected, since he must finish in the top 2 no matter what happens to Lewis...

Well this should be FANTASTIC to watch. This is many early mornings and many cosy afternoons worth of racing all down to one final race. Lets see a fair and clean race.

Well, it finally stopped raining over here. But I'm pretty far from the track.

I was watching a interview with Massa this morning, he seems pretty relaxed. He said his only concern is to win the race, there's nothing else he can do.

Rain wouldn't be such a bad idea. After all it's easier to make mistakes when it's raining, and that's what Massa needs from Hamilton.
 
The track is dry but rain is expected.

Edit. Anyone on really light fuel will have a big advantage if they start on intermediates.
