But I think in race they won't be 1sec a lap faster or I hope so. Race pace of Mclaren is ok and Ferrari also. Hamilton needs to get pass Felipe baby in the start. Good job by Nico. MS needs to retire.

For the record, you can't retire two times. Unless, of course, you are Shumacher who is just special.
 
Lots of drivers have retired twice, Prost did, Mansell, Lauda etc
 
Unfortunately the weather says it could stay dry throughout the whole day with a very, very low chance of having even a slightest rain. The temperature remains high at 29°C later today before the start of the race...

EDIT: Update with a possibility of patchy rain at 08:00... GP3 race went on with a bright sky anyway.

My prediction, Webber and Vettel block the ferraris by driving side by side off the line, Vettel will hold on to p1, with Webber getting passed by Ferrari's Alonso after the first corner, but Webber will regain P2 in the pits, resulting in a RB 1-2 with Alonso 3rd.
 
Watch for Massa and Smedley at Alonso's birthday party at Ferrari:

And my prediction is that Vettel finally will succeed in putting someone in the wall at the start and that someone will be Alonso. This will leave Webber free to coast to an easy win with Massa half a minute behind and Hamilton taking the last podium

So we found a second solution to make races more exciting. Random safety cars!. Rosberg, Kubica and Sutil all ruined. Webbers race is all but ruined too by not pitting him. Poor Massa that sucks for him.
 
Hamilton's car has had a transmission failure and Vettel is under investigation for exceeding 10 car lengths behind the safety car.


EDIT: And now Vettel has to serve a drive through penalty.

Much of a favour for Ferrari now it seems. That pit incident was speechless. Pit lane of the year... :p

EDIT: Uuuuh Vettel in the pit lane. I kinda don't like it though...

Go Webber! 1'24.3 fastest lap, get a move on! He needs 19 secs, he has around 15 ish, he can win this one, unlucky for Vettel, but what the hell was he doing.. day dreaming.
 
Webber is doing an -amazing- job at the moment, opening almost 20 second gap between himself and Alonso, if he can manage to widen it just a bit further he may be able to prevent that overtake, but then he has to worry about bringing the Primed tires up to temperature while Alonso's already are. Turning into a fantastic race, shame about Hamilton and Vettel, though.

EDIT: Absolutely epic pitstop for Webber, managed to keep race lead with seconds to spare, hoping that Vettel can take Alonso before the race is over, he seems to be closing on him pretty solid so hopefully he can get it done in the next 26 laps.

Damn it...that frickin Red Bull is on a different planet iin this race. Great job by Webber though 👍

Should be fun watching Alonso fend off Vettel for the remainder of the race :)
 
Definatly awesome stuff. It'll be interesting to see if Vettel can make up enough time in the twisty parts of the track to take Alonso considering the speed advantage the Ferrari has on the straights.

He was a very naughty boy there, typical Schumacher though. Thank goodness there wasn't an accident. Looks like he'll get some kind of penalty for it at least.

That was a rediculous move by Schumacher, he'll definately get some sorting out for that. Nearly put Reubens into the pit wall.
 
Congratulations Webber. Absolutely out of planet being wickedly fast and faster than the rest of the cars. Well, scratch what I said yesterday, it was an amazing race. Pit drama put all the lights up LOL. Kobayashi and De La Rosa really put a charge into the top-10. Impressive stuff! Great job by the Lotuses for the newbies.

I almost forgot how dirty Schumacher's move was with Barrichello. Absolutely out of his mind with that silly move 👎
 
Awesome effort by Mark Webber, trully a magnificent win, luck involved for sure with the Safety car, plus Vettels untimely drive thru, but he needed to pull out some stunning laps in that middle part of the race, and he did just that! Probably the best win I've seen from Webber, the most unlikliest anyway after the start.
