For anyone who is interested, here is Webber's pole lap, the second fastest lap ever at Monaco, to Raikkonen's Q2 time in 2006.

There are not to many videos that make me go "LOOK OUT THAT'S A WALL!!!!", but that one was definitely one of them. It amazes me that every year they take more aero away from these cars to try and slow them down and yet they just keep getting faster.

Wow, could you have found a video with worse quality if you'd tried? It looks more like a slide show than a lap.

LOL, PJ-FFL you'll have to work a lot harder to get nice words from interludes

Anyway, amazing lap by Webber :scared:👍

Incredible line through the corner after the swimming pool!!! Must've been less than an inch away from the left barrier - and then to collect it after nudging the kerb on the right... awesome work!

C.

Very little racing so far. Hulkenburg crashed, and Button's engined failed him. But two Red Bulls out front, so I'm happy.

Webber is flying! Hope the reliability holds up :scared:

EDIT: Straight back into the lead after his first pit stop, incredible!

The Saftey SLS AMG is back out, that means that everybody is caught up to Webber.

Now the race is back on, so lets see what Webber can do.

It's looking good for the bulls, seem to be staying out of trouble, Webber has epic pace. Vettel might have to look in his mirrors soon.

P.S. Every time I see that SLS, my brain goes 'GT5' Waah!

This French TV broadcast is not very good. They're not even showing the reason why there is a saftey car out!

Yes, I know what it was, but they never showed it.

Webber is getting back out ahead.

never showed it here, either, i think you'd be getting the feed from BBC like everyone else, just with french commentators.

I'd say they'd already fixed the drain cover by the time the camera panned over it.

No, everybody around the world is getting the exact same broadcast, which is being run by a French network. Every race except for Monaco and Japan is broadcasted by FIA.

Just finished watching the Nurburgring 24hrs, F1 really does look like a parade lap now. However, no matter, Webber is in the lead, that makes it exciting cause I'll be worrying till the last corner...

Webber is in a class of his own, just like last week. You would think you are watching an F1 champion driving, but this Webber is completely different from last year's Webber. What a drive so far!

Anybody catch Rubens throwing his steering wheel out into the track? That was epic frustration... plus probably a reprimand from the stewards.

At this point, it's all a parade lap. The only question is whether Kubica can take Vettel under braking down out of the tunnel, or Alonso can do the same to Hamilton, as Vettel is noticeably slower than Webber and Hamilton has had a brake issue for the past thirty laps.

Yes I did, that wasn't very smart on him. That steering wheel was ran over, and they costs like $10,000!

Less than 10 laps to go. C'mon Webber and Vettel!

Damnit, thanks to those early pitstops, triggered by the fears of the front-runners that Alonso would catch up, pretty much everyone is on the same tire strategy at the moment... which means everyone has the same tire wear level... which means that nobody is going to be able to overtake in the next few laps.

Alonso still pulling up on Hamilton, but I doubt he has enough tire left to make that lunge. Fantastic drive and inspired strategy with that ultra-quick first pitstop got him up to 6th, but that's where he'll stay.

Damn, Chandok and Trulli playing dominoes! This race will end on yellow! Poor Chandok, that car literally scraped the paint off his helmet!

Wow, exciting Crash to finish the race off. A shame it may finish under Safety car now, but what a drive from Webber so far. Great to see him doing so well this year. :D

So we are going to finish behind the Saftey SLS AMG. That means that it's another Red Bull 1-2! So, Webber and Vettel share the top of the points standing. Well, I'm happy!

Awesome result for Mark Webber, i'm sure i'm not the only Aussie this season who loves seeing Webber in the title hunt. Great drive from him, absolutely faultless. :)

Great drive from The Bulls, as usual, The reliability didn't hit them this time, fantastic!

Schumi and Alonso... Cheeky

Not a bad race... we had 50% of the cars finish... :D

Wonder if they'll count Schumacher's overtake on Alonso? You can't overtake under safety car, but Alonso flubbed it... hmmm...

Great drive by Webber, he was in a class of his own. Also, I loved that sneaky move Schumacher pulled on Alonso at the end.

Aaaaand Schumi makes a newbie mistake and overtakes before crossing the finish line. Damn. One of the best Monaco GPs ever? There was crashes, safety cars, Alonso overtaking four times in the same corner, Barrichello throwing the steering wheel...

Who says that Monaco GP is boring?

Also, Webber is gonna end winning the championship at this rate.

PD: AFAIK, you can't overtake until you cross the finish line except for mechanical failure. So yeah, Schumi's gonna have for dinner a penalty with potatoes.
