2010 Korean Grand Prix

I usually download the BBC broadcast the next day. This time however, I decided to watch it live on Speed. :banghead:

.....Kinda annoying we had a brand new track with some rather interesting (to me) turns and styles and we cannot really see how it can be raced. Yet.

And I especially got up early just to see this. First time in years too!

*throws up his hands in despair*....

Hyundai ( ) street sweeper...

Yeah, the most effective race car on the track at the moment!

Submerged. How apt

They should bring the Porsche Supercup cars and race them, in conditions like this.

So we've got about 12 minutes until the start which will again start behind the safety car.

Anyone else go to sleep yet? Sold out stands... and they're sitting in the torrential rain watching drivers standing in the torrential rain watching the rain coming down.

Nico Rosberg apparently has enough time to go over to his pit wall and take a guided tour.

Button runs for the toilets. :D

huh?! Oh, that'll be good...Thought it wasn't going to happen for a while longer. (referring to Jackington's post)

Mind you, its rather nice to see those on-the-spot interviews to the drivers about the conditions.

Its just so strange seeing all the drivers just talk about it without any apparent stress on talking about the subject. Quite refreshing.

Ooooooh, just seen on the telly, its going to start in ten mins!!!!

At least we can get some action, even though it is behind the safety car.

Fault #1 with the track: There's no place for the water to go to. Meaning extreme spray and standing water.
By the way, 3 Hyundai speewers are out on track.

If I ever go into power I'm going to have those sweepers race around the track while the race is red flagged as a form of alternate entertainment. Except instead of 3 I'd have around 25... should sweep water away quicker as well..

Oooooh, the Medical Car has lights inside its numberplate thing!

That's so cool actually....Would be nice to have that on my car....

Medical Car giving it the beans 👍

Medical car vs. Safety car. 200mph SLS against a four-dour estate. Don't get any ideas... Oh, and dont expect 42 laps, expect only 60% of race distance.

These 3rd millennium F1 sissies are afraid of a few drops, they won't start even with life buoys, give them a sand pit to play with...

Such great potential for this race - ruined by starting behind the SC!

You're assuming we actually get to see a start.

I wonder if anyone is going to spin under the safety car because they're going so slowly for the aero stuff to work?

Thank you Yamamoto! He went off! And then went back on the track...

Whole race behind the SC while you're at it. :dopey:

BTW Amusing : Not sure if anyone caught it - Senna had to pit in the first stint because they put his front tyres on the wrong way round!!

Oh, is that why he pulled in. I thought he just didn't like the tires he had.

Apparently, it's the fresh asphalt that's at fault.

Lap 6.

Race. Drive to the conditions. Bravest wins.

Easy.

Bravery in F1 is gone 👎

At this rate Mercedes will win their first GP of the year, they've led every lap thus far.

;)

Anes
Bravery in F1 is gone

Keep in mind that these guys have never even turned a lap at the track prior to a few days ago. You really have to know a track to be able to drive it in the rain.

Let's play guess the lap they'll really start racing... it's now lap 8...

Very true.

AND A MERC has slid off!!!

And then come back on the track.

I see a pattern developing...

I disagree on first hand experience.
