So it is expected that there might be some rain on Sunday and considering the super bright lighting with a rain, could it be a huge trouble for the drivers? And if that's the case, what might happen to the race?

If there is rain on Sunday this is gonna be chaotic...makes for a great race. 👍

If Webber is somehow leading the race near the end, and can clearly hold off vettel with his speed, is he man enough to still win the race and not give vettel the win just so he can have extra spice to his title collect, cause I'm sure the team will ask him to.
Man or mouse, I hope he makes the right choice.

I think the team would tell them to hold station, as it would give Webber a nice help in the race for 2nd. Vettel doesn't need the win, and Red Bull get the perfect weekend result of a 1-2 finish.... But Webber needs to get ahead of Vettel at some stage and stay there as well!

I believe that, in the event of a wet race, it will actually be held on Sunday afternoon. This came up when the first race was held; a lot of people were worried that it would rain and visibility would be greatly reduced (even though the lights make it brighter than in the day). If the FIA believes there is a chance of rain - particularly heavy rain - the race will be brought forward.

With the lights being so bright, a wet track surface is going to reflect the light which will dazzle the drivers. You don't get this problem at other circuits unless the sun is low in the sky (Like towards the end of the Australian GP for example, where drivers complain that the race is too late as the sun shines in their eyes at certain parts of the tracks).

Pretending to demonstrate that driver X is the best driver in the rain showing only one example doesn't mean anything. I could just as well say the title goes to Alonso for overtaking 15+ cars in four laps in the rain, just like this.

But it turns out Alonso had the only car with a wet setup in that race, so...

Looks like Alonso had the wings during that race back in 05 or was that 06...either way even with the setup it looked like he had to dodge alot.

Most likely so.

Kerbs on the exits of Turns 3 and 14 have been removed because they came loose. I guess it was quicker to remove them than it was to secure them properly.

First time I've actually seen the track in daylight. It looks different to me but I'd say it's just the difference in lighting.

looks like track will open in 20 minutes if I understood the audio right(1840)

I kinda like it at dusk

I didn't realize how tight pit lane was here, it looks so wide on F1 '10

Lucky FP2 has no curbs failure... Noticed some drivers including Alonso and Vettel spotting a metallic flakes designed helmets. Looks damn good under the lights!

Mark Webber can't catch a break. Now he's collided with Glock in practice and damaged his front wing. Glock punctured rear. :banghead:

That was the incident in FP1 I think. Can't really place blame on either driver, although it would probably lean more on Glock as he took a wider line into the turn and had to have known the Red Bull was coming up fast on his left.

Does anyone know the GMT time for qualify and race?

in my timezone (PT = GMT+1) it'll be quali at 14:00 Saturday and Race at 13:00 Sunday.

Therefore, GMT times should be Sat 13:00 (quali) and Sun 12:00 (Race). Or am I seeing it wrong? :dopey:

Looks right to me. So it will be like an European race, just the qualy an hour later. Thanks for the info.
