EDIT: You could see Hamilton back out of it to avoid the same thing that happened last year, but he still managed to hit. I feel sorry for Massa :/

Lewis has destroyed both his and Massa's race. Broke a fraction too late, locked up, released the brake pedal and lost his front wing and gave Massa a puncture. Drive through penalty, so it will be interesting to see if he can go back into the points.

To be fair he did brake a little earlier to let Massa through first, but then he tried to make the apex and clipped Massa's rear tyre in the process. Hopefully now the Brundle and Coulthard will divert their attention to that 'other' British driver; Button. Oh no, wait they're focusing on Di Resta. :rolleyes:

Hamilton was having a terrible race anyway in my opinion.
 
Good job BBC. So di Resta is running 3rd. He hasn't pit yet guys, he'll be back behind Sutil soon enough. Stop acting as if he's doing oh so well Brundle and Coulthard. Doing better than Sutil? On what grounds?

Blast, even SPEED are talking up Paul. No, he hasn't outqualified Sutil at every race. And even if he's winning the qualifying race, which I doubt, Adrian has a fair bit more points than him.
 
The way Hamilton has been racing is annoying the hell out of me. He strong arms other drivers for position, he takes no blame for incidents when he should (oh wow, that one (1) incident at Spa) and he's reckless for no reason.

I think Hamilton needs to retire for the rest of the season LOL and take stock of his driving. He is not having a good season.

ps I'm a Lewis fan as well.

So... boring race from this point on? Time to go to sleep? Button is just not staying with Vettel, while Alonso and Webber are playing a strategic game of cat-and-mouse.

Correction... Alonso's car just doesn't have the pace to keep Webber at bay. The Red Bulls are just too good at this track, apparently...

Hamilton's punishment is a bit harsh... but in view of the whole incident, including the aftermath, wholly deserved.
 
Let's face it, if it wasn't for hamilton there wouldn't be anything to discuss. ;)

I guess it can be interpretted as such. I just wish they would drop their "anti MSc" and "Pro Our Great Hope LH" stance. If Schumi had tagged Massa they would have had the knives out (based on their comments earlier in the season). But as its LH, it's all papered over.

And for the greater record, I am not a LH hater. I think he is one of, if not the best' 'racer' out there, but is not developing a good track record w.r.t. on-track behaviour this season.

Get a clue please. Yes, he's back behind Sutil, but he's now running quicker, on the same tyre. Di Resta also now has the slower tyre out of the way, which Sutil still has to go on to, and Paul is going on to do one less stop. 💡


Oh, and Hamilton is an idiot. You cannot turn in if another car is in the way, Lewis...
