Damn, that RBR is fast. Webber monsters Rosberg, now Rosberg trying to hold of Alonso... Hamilton and Button playing at switching places... but eventually, McLaren will have to ask them to settle down and put in some good laps.

---

Oh, right... McLaren don't believe in Team Orders...

---

And thanks to their tit for tat, Massa has pulled right up to their tails...

What a pit stop. :D

Also the DRS zone needs some adjusting for next year methinks.

Hamilton and Massa are stubborn.

Kobayashi has gained a lot of ground.

Massa overtakes Hamilton.. then Hamilton overtakes him in the pits... almost collecting Massa. Seems like a bad call from Ferrari in releasing Massa just before Hamilton came by.

Alonso and Webber now doing pits together... Less close this time...

Seems Ferrari's tire changes really need some work.

Haha Kobayashi already 5th!?

Looks like Hamilton can now take his turn at Rosberg... and oops... he does. That was almost too easy...

Everhyone is talking about "Plan B". Is that plan "Pin the tail on the Vettel?" UPDATE: Seems like it means "four stops".

Schumacher should just park that car... how many people have overtaken him, already?

Pit to Massa: "Turn the wick up, Damnit. Overtake that damn Mercedes!"

EDIT: Now Button is joining the fun...

Yeah, I have all of 'em.

Mercedes are having a race to forget here... Schumacher has been utterly woeful, at least Rosberg is (was) making a fist of it, but there's only so much he can do...

Hamilton might take some pain here... 2nd stop on Lap 21? Button is looking pretty good though...

Ferrari-based conspiracy theory question...

During qualifying, the two Ferraris were running up to 311km/h and bouncing off the limiter for a distance at the end of the straight on KERS and DRS. As Massa passed Rosberg just then, he was at 320km/h at the same point (presumably also using KERS and DRS). What rules-legal way is there to explain this? The only one I can think of is a software-based lower rev limiter for qualifying.

Nico has been dropping as well.

To be fair, Nico is being passed by the first stringers. Schumacher is dicing it out with the lower-midfield. Not a good sign for Schumacher. Also not a great showing for Mercedes in general... seems they aren't getting much tire life out of this iteration of the car...

Ive given up trying to follow who's where on what stop. This is just too damn confusing.

Alonso is doing a quiet job of holding it up there... he finally pips Sergio Perez for fastest lap of the race.

Is it me, or are the McLarens also suffering on tire pace? Or are they conserving their best tires for stint 3 and 4?

I'm not the only one that noticed that then? I'm sure the gear ratio's are set before Qualifying.. Seems a little strange

Rosberg 8th? Wow, I hope they do indeed safe the good tires for the last stints.

Engine durability issues?

Alonso takes Webber. Makes it look easy. Great race for Fernando, so far.

Everybody except Alonso.;)

Crap. Stuck wheel again for McLaren. Hamilton spends an extra 12 seconds in the pits!

That's put paid his race. Could have come out in front of Button... now he's back in 7th.

Oh God why is Alonso so fast? Crap. But seriously, I have to admit, how he is driving this car around this track, he deserves the win.

He partially makes up for it with a fastest lap.

Edit: Oh and Rosberg faster now than the pole cars.
