Yes! It should be clear by now Rosberg is the better driver at Mercedes. Let's see just how high up the grid Rosberg can put the car.

Well I'm really surprised by the pace of McLaren, but we'll see whether RBR have been holding back at all.

Either way, going good for Massa and LRGP so far 👍.

I'd go so far as to suggest that he still has it to some degree but it isn't translating very well toward his lap times. He's already doing better than last season though. At least right now anyway..

Good to see Lewis step up and take the fight to RB, true grit! Stefano Domenicali should retire, how the hell is he going to set the Ferrari's for just a one shot deal......Ferrari half a second back already.....ugh. Come on Lewis..

P3 for Webber.

He should be able to get a good enough draft to overtake into the first corner. That is if he can get off the line without stalling.

Race # 2 and Mclaren already breathing down the necks of RB......Tomorrow will be interesting indeed......

Great laps from the Red Bull and McLaren drivers.

It's a shame we didn't see any of it, though. No, for some reason, we were stuck watching a guy trundling around eight-tenths off a lap, so we only got a fraction of the Red Bulls and McLaren. So, Mr. TV Director: please listen to the commentators from now on. If they say something is going to happen, it probably will.

Wow. What a lap at the end from Vettel. I think Button will win tomorrow with Hamilton second again.

As a McLaren fan, I'm rather pleased with the result. Neither of the teams drivers are on pole but they sure did put up a good fight. Bring on the race! 👍

Amazing quali. I had Hamilton for pole in my prediction league though I am a vettel fan. Can't believe I doubted him haha. Hope this race is as exciting as this quali was.

Wow Stunning session ,brilliant from Sb yet again.Mark is not happy watching the conference

Fantastic Q session, very tense. Was expecting Seb to do exactly what he did but was hoping he wouldn't so things would be mixed up. Oh well, hopefully some rain mixes things up tomorrow.

Well I'm routing for Hamilton, I believe him to be the superior driver. The Red Bulls are getting more down force with their wacky front wing and the front of the car being lower than the rear. It would be great to see Mercedes get up there, along with Ferrari. The better the competition is the better the ratings will be....The more the FIA falls in love with Vettel the worse it will be for F1. Not to say he's a bad driver, I think he's really talented. But he's been lucky with a great car the last 2 years.

Lets not forget Alonso is a top caliber driver like Hamilton and Vettel, shows how far off Ferrari is from Red Bull.

What is going on with Ferrari and Mercedes? Nowhere land, which is disappointing, how great would 4 teams be duking it out at the front.

Great lap by KK to get into the top 10. 👍

Karun Chandhok clearly fancies himself as a BBC presenter, he's in the wrong profession

I'm glad Vettel kicked Hamilton off the pole, I was amazed that anyone could improve on that stunning lap in the Mclaren... and it was .000 dead, I've never seen a time hit like that.

The Torro Rosso cooling system was really cool to see, you almost never see such a view unless its trashed in an accident.

Robin.

Let's just hope that Vettel fumbles up the start tomorrow so that we wont have to sit through him leading from start to finish. Which is the dirty side btw?

I can't remember a driver having more badluck last season...

Heidfeld got in front of Petrov :D . Hopefully Nick will have a better weekend at Malaysia than he did in Australia.
