That was a weird accident from Petrov. He went so far out off the circuit that I wouldn't be surprised if his steering was already loose. You can bet the FIA will want to take a look at that section of the circuit; no-one's ever been that far off-line before, and since a driver can't actully see what is directly in front of him, Petrov never would have seen it coming. That accident could easily have been much worse, so you can bet they'll have something to say about fixing it up.
Yeah, there's definately something wrong with the steering there. Look at him turning the wheel at about thirty seconds in - nothing is happening. He's nearly got full lock going and the car is seriously understeering.Ha that's for certain. Somebody is quick on their feet too, already posted:

I love the F1 forum on the BBC, does anybody else watch it?

If RBR know that the KERS is not working or they don't want to use it , why install it?
Just adds 50kg more to the car.
Remember 2009 by any chance? That's a sad situation to already be in, Vettel with as many points as JB and LH combined.

Gosh that race was boring as sin, only the start and the last lap was worth watching... especially getting up at 8am on the Sunday. Such a shame it didn't rain.
To be honest, Button didn't get terribly threatened in the championship that year. It just started unbelievably well then went sort of wrong.
You must have seen a different race than I did.
Chune! (on the BBC coverage).
And Petrov's accident reminds of Bourdais' at the end of the 2008 Australian GP.
Have to say Di Resta had a fine race. Second point of the year already! How do you think he'll get on for the rest of the season guys?
Bourdais?
It was Glock i suppose.
Oh, congratz Red Bull, Mclaren and Renault!
Great race.
No it was Bourdais.
He ran in the top ten all weekend. Hardly what we saw from him last year.oh, and Petrov... well, he's back in form...
Duh. It's only been making headlines for the past six months.P.S. we have two Lotus Renault teams. Lotus Renault (green), and Lotus Renault (black)
