Maaan, this rain + Stewart's good run so far + 2 Ford engines failing = I'm getting more nervous.. I wonderhow Edwards handles all this more the pressure of his team and everybody else out there

The rain is going to change the track for both drivers, so not sure why you're so neverous. Also Roush has said that engine package for the other cars was different than Edwards. Regan had a more experimental setup supposedly. I want Stewart to win but to be honest, it's going to be tough cause I don't see Carl failing.

Yes, this is probably one of the most stressful situations imaginable for Edwards and Stewart fans.

Wish I could worry about my driver winning the title. :grumpy:

Same here, but winning the race would probably be more of crowd pleaser than a championship for my driver sadly.

Bah. Managed to find the race being shown live on TV on about lap 80. Got to see about 15 minutes of racing and we've been stopped ever since. Going to have to go to bed soon so probably won't even see it go green. Hrumph.

I don't even care which one wins, I'd happy to see either one do it. Enjoying every second of this race.

I can't believe their separated by one point right now with both running up front. Amazing. I doesn't get any more exciting.

Holy bejeesus - Tony and Carl sandwiched two other cars and went four wide entering turn one a few minutes ago. Stewart made quite a run to get from ninth to the lead in just a few laps.

This championship has a very good chance to be the closest in history (that is, if the final margin is two points or fewer). I just don't know which way it's going to turn out.

Another crazy restart. This is good stuff! 👍

On a side note, why does tracks like Kansas and Chicago get 2nd dates but not Homestead? :grumpy:

I like to see Homestead get a second date and make both races night races! :D --- Randy

I liked the old mini-Indy layout at Homestead a lot more than this configuration. But, it is funny that this current layout is almost exactly the same as the old Atlanta layout, which used to be the final race of the season. I definitely wish they had not changed Atlanta to make it almost exactly like Charlotte/Texas/Vegas/etc. A little more variation in track type is not a bad thing.

ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?

I think they'll get going again. They won't stop it unless they absolutely have to.

So long as the rain disappears and they finish the race it'll be ok.

In light of the truck series finale, and now this, I think NASCAR should implement a new rule for next year: the final race of the season MUST be run in its entirety regardless of weather. That's why we have 7 days in a week, right?
