I read a rumor somewhere that Kyle Busch might get banned from NASCAR. I doubt he will, I don't even think it's possible, or easy at least. And to give up such a super star, such young talent. There is no denying he has serious skill.

I'll say this: I DO NOT like KyBu but he doesn't deserve a lifetime ban. He needs a slap on the wrist and a kick in the right direction. He has too much to offer to be this dumb, and he needs to be straightened out.

That rumor probably started with the probation that he received on Monday. According to the rules, if he breaks his probation he could be booted from NASCAR. I doubt they would do it without him causing any more problems.

Also on a sad note, chance of rain this weekend is pretty high. We've had very little rain this year and the monsoon season was a joke, go figure it decides to rain last weekend, and this coming weekend. All sunny in between.

Just saw on NASCAR.com that Cole whitt is entered in the sprint cup race in the #84

Will be interesting to see how he does. Seems like a weird move by Red Bull though, although I guess if they have the cars around the shop, might as well use them.

I saw something on Nascar.com today about Red Bull offering everything cheap to Kahne if he wanted it. Can't seem to find it now though...

Not sure. It was one of the news articles posted at the top of the main page earlier today. I skipped it at the time, now that I want to read it I can't find it.

Honestly, I like it (And will probably be the only one). Reminds me of the stripes on the test car from a year or two ago after Daytona was repaved.

I wonder if Ragan, Reutimann or Vickers will even be around next year? Reutimann just found out a week ago so that explains the silence in that situation but the other two have at least knew the possibility some time ago and have been just as silent.

I guess it could be a good opportunity for a small team like TRG, TBR or Furniture Row to go to a 2nd car in '12.

Love the stripes on the 48. But they'd look better in red trimmed with white behind a matte black finish on the 29.

Furniture Row was talking about a second car around mid-season, but I haven't heard anything about it since then. The 78 hasn't had much luck lately except for a couple good finishes, (like 13th at Martinsville) but I would guess that in the right situation with the right driver they would consider running a second car.

If you don't like certain paintschemes, I'm sure our own RACECAR could probably come up with something better. I actually like that black and white #48 design myself. It's a bit of a stealthy paintscheme to me (stealth NASCAR stock car in GT5, anyone?).

As far as drivers getting into trouble is concerned, at least Kyle Busch isn't in all kinds of trouble like Jeremy Mayfield is in. I read on Speed Channel's bottom line about Jeremy Mayfield has had all kinds of drug charges against him recently. Sure, "Rowdy" Busch can be quite a bad guy, but that's NOTHING compared to what Mayfield has been through lately: http://sports.yahoo.com/nascar/news;_ylt=Apjku6pgMhXQAm3WHfmnTJnov7YF?slug=ap-mayfieldarrested .

So it's Phoenix this weekend and Homestead-Miami next weekend. Best of luck to all teams, and may be better driver win the championship. Jimmie Johnson's run for six straight titles is over unless NASCAR hands him the championship.

Sounds like Busch is out of the Nationwide series and possible the Cup series as well for the rest of the season.

UPDATE: The fallout from #18-Kyle Busch's road rage at Texas continued Thursday when one of his sponsors asked for him to be removed from the season-ending Nationwide Series race. Multiple people familiar with Busch's schedule told the AP that Z-Line Designs asked this week that Denny Hamlin replace Busch in next weekend's Nationwide race at Homestead. The people spoke on condition of anonymity because Busch's future was still being discussed Thursday with sponsors and Joe Gibbs Racing. Among the options being considered is Aric Almirola replacing Busch in the final two Sprint Cup Series races of the season, as primary sponsor M&M's decides how it wants to proceed with Busch. Although NASCAR has cleared Busch to race this weekend at Phoenix, JGR officials have been silent on his status in Sunday's Cup race.(more at the Associated Press website)
for all the past news, statements, and updates on NASCAR's parking of Busch at Texas, go to Jayski's #18 team news page.(11-10-2011)

As Red Forman says "Dumbass".

I'll be surprised if the rest of the sponsors don't soon follow suit. Looks like this could be the beginning of the end for Kyle's Career, without NASCAR's Help and another strong example of how sponsors more so then teams are making the calls.

I don't really see a problem with it, if I'm a company like M&M/Mars that's investing millions into a team I better have a say in who is presenting my brand and how they carry themselves.

Where did I say this was a problem? I'm saying this is an example of how much Power Sponsors have. People look at Reed Sorenson and Jason Leffler and David Reutimann Losing their jobs because the owner is douche when its a very likely chance that all their job losses were likely done because of the sponsors.

I was just merely stating my opinion on the matter as I know some people have issues with it.👍

I used to love Johnson's liveries when they were like this

Since the start of 2010 they've been too bland in my opinion.

Ok, I hear you on that. Just irritating that people will point fingers before they actually bother looking deeper.

He'll be back, if not this year, then next. But I would love to see Reutimann in the #18 car.

Also maybe Reutimann could race the the 26 races Danica won't be at SHR, if he can get some sponsorship.
