I would of thought Michu being his nickname was fairly obvious, I would say Pablo should be considered signing of the season, as well as Michu though.

Absolutley!! Hernandez has been terrific for us!, espicially in the last month or so where he has picked up a few man of the match awards..thats what made yesterdays result surprising, as he was injured and didnt play!

Anyone see Arquin's goal for Notts County in the FA Cup? Didn't see a thread about it, what a nice goal.

Footballers. umad society ?

You "forgot" Torres !

Jokes getting old.

I'm just crossing my fingers that Chelsea gets Radamel* Falcao. Then we could actually score. Chelsea's midfield is more than capable of feeding a ball to the Striker. We just need somebody who can actually play Football every time he's on the pitch.

Picture the scene..

..its 2007 at Liverpools Melwood training ground and Rafa Benitez is taking a training session when he calls over Fernando Torres for a chat about 'tactics'

Benitez: 'ive got a plan to destroy Chelsea!, its going to take a few years but itll be worth it..are you in?!'

Torres: 'yeah, im in!!'

I believe it as well :sly:

Hope we bring Lakaku back in January and give him a chance, at least he is scoring goals. If that doesn't work then bring Falcao in in the summer (if he's still available and City haven't got their dirty paws on him) :sly:

Not all players coming from different leagues work out in the premier league, plus the fact Falcao's 48 million release clause is certainly a put off :scared:

He does look to be made for the premier league though.

I honestly think they could've challenged the Manchester clubs for the title if they didn't sack RDM, regardless of whether they signed Falcao. They'l be taking a huge gamble if they do sign him that's for sure. Although, what other options do they really have ?

We started to struggle when we lost the controversial game against united, I don't care what any United fan says, United were on the back foot when we came back at them and we were the only team that looked like winning.

Even with 10 men I am confident we would of won or at least got a draw out of it.

I enjoyed having RDM in charge and was frustrated when he got sacked, now that I think about it though did he really have a plan B, If his plan B was the Juventus game then in my opinion no he didn't.

Great respect for what RDM has done but we couldn't go on leaking goals all season, against the top teams we have played this season (apart from Shakhtar) it pretty much tells me he didn't have a plan B at all.

I agree with you though, if we were able to tighten up the defense a bit then we could of challenged the Manchester clubs

I remember explicitly stating as soon as Clattenburg sent Torres off and gave Young the penalty that Chelsea's winter disaster would start. Didn't quite expect this. RDM may not have had a few flaws but Benitez is hopeless. Luiz I think can take a hefty chunk of that blame for leaky defending, something he has done for all 4 Chelsea managers he's played for since signing last year.

I always used to take the piss out of my mates who supported Liverpool for having Torres, Benetiz and being in the Europa League. Oh how times have changed. Expect a bid for Dirk Kuyt, Voronin and Lucas in January. 👍

I obviously hate united but you can't knock their desire to win games, they have the same desire season after season, you can't say that about the other so called top four.

If all teams were like that we would have a thrilling season.

Kuyt Voronin and Lucas  Glad we have money or a trip to the bookies would of been in order to make some of my own with your great tip :sly:

So Newcastle-Wigan is about to KO..big game for Newcastle this, they need a good result badly!

Injuries to key players tonight as well so I can see a draw being a good result for Newcastle. Good chance for Wigan here I would say, bad times for Pardew and Newcastle.

1-0 Newcastle

Demba Ba scored from a penalty and Figueroa has been sent off.

Well they are now 2-0 up!! Demba Ba getting both of them..

3-0 to the toon then! boy did they need that!..also Bigrimana's goal was a peach!!

Glad to see them get a nice W again. It has been awhile. Demba Ba scoring 2 times helps my fantasy league out a lot! Lol.

So Chelsea have bought a leftback from Brazil called Wallace!..i wonder if he'll bring Gromit with him....

John Obi Mikel has been banned for three games and fined £60,000 after threatening Mark Clattenburg in the referees changing room after Chelsea-Man Utd game!...

What a dirty little grub that Mikel is. First he instigates the racial allegations against Clattenburg and then it turns out he is the one who was doing the abusing. What a 🤬.

What a shame that the fines the FA impose don't have any impact in the pockets of the players.

If they stopped his wages for a month, then they might sit up and notice. As it is, PL fines are pathetic, doing nothing to those who receive them.

I think the 3 game ban is quite fair though..

Yeah, but if he also wasn't paid during that time, that would be fair too.

..and come to think of it, Chelsea are in Japan next week in the world club cup so we wont see Mikel here untill after xmas..thank god!
