An awefull lot of these "mistakes" go in the favor of a certain Manchester United. It's been that way for years. And do I even have to bring up the Chelsea game this season?

You may have a point, but United had a goal "disabled", so it's kind of pointless to bring it up in this game.




Seems like City's fanbase just woke up, I could have sworn the stadium was empty. River Plate 2-2 Boca Juniors all over again. :ouch:

This coming from a United fan. I've always found United fans to be the worst. No offense.

I hate man Utd fans that act bad too. Just as I bad mouthed Evra for diving earlier. Neither has a place within football. :)

It's probably more of a problem with Uniteds fan base being so incredibly large that they have to have the bad fans in there. It's impossible not to have any I suppose.

Newcastle fans have always been pretty tame in my opinion. Always just cheer for Newcastle and don't really get to bent out of shape about the BS.

Yeah, some idiot threw a coin at Ferdinand as he was celebrating; an inch lower and he could have seriously been blinded.

Then that idiot got onto the pitch, and was trying to goad the United players but 6' 5" Joe Hart stepped in.

Very unsavoury scenes. But, I actually wish the TV director showed it. We mustn't shy away from these things. Show where we and football culture are going wrong, and shame the perpetrators.

Great win for United in a great game. 6 points clear now.
 
Yeah I know someone threw something but I didn't know the picture happened. Glad Hart didn't protect him because he's a city "fan".

Over here a slow-motion replay of the coin hitting Ferdinand's eyebrow was shown. To be honest, I must have not been focused while they were showing it, because I could have sworn it was a bottle. :lol:

The coin incident was definitely on TV, that's how I know it happened. It happened literally as United were celebrating the winner, so the director didn't have a chance to get away.

Then they showed Ferdinand post-coinage, and he had a fairly deep gash on his eyebrow. Like I said, an inch lower and who knows what kind of injury he could have sustained....

It should be on MOTD2 alright.
 
I think ive seen the coin-throwing incident!..they showed footage of Rio celebrating with the players after the winner was scored, he was messing around with shirt (just pulling on it and stuff..) and then something seemed to hit him on the head , then they cut to live feed of him getting treatment for the cut..
