Well, other teams have said it's hard to go to Swansea and win and I think we've proved that.

Very well played by Swansea, I have a lot of respect for teams that play football rather than stick everyone behind the ball. Rooney had a shocker, I haven't seen him play that bad in his time at united. Still four points clear going into the Christmas fixtures which is a huge bonus.
 
That's exactly our problem. We beat big teams and lose to little ones.

I know we didn't lose today but same thing.

My prediction would be maybe 3-2 to Chelsea if Aston Villa turn up. But I don't know how likely that will be.

I wanted a draw! so im happy!:D as ive said im a swans fan and a United fan, so its a perfect result really, i was delighted with the Swansea performance as well..i know it two points dropped for United like, but at least we are top for xmas, so all in all im happy..double thumbs from me!đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

Swansea aren't a little team anymore though. I have a feeling that they'll knock Chelsea out of the League cup as well. They have the best buy of the summer as well.

I hope they do. But Swansea are not equals of teams like man Utd, and city yet teams like that keep losing to smaller teams.

Maybe not as big as City or United but still a whole lot better than 3-4 years ago. They weren't even in the Premier league then. Their link up play is amazing and Michu makes it look so easy.
 
Just think of Liverpool a few years back, beat Chelsea twice, Arsenal twice, Manchester United twice. And lost teams like Sunderland, Wolves and Hull. (Aware those teams are not all in the same season)

We are not equals of the big teams but i do hope we will be one day...that point v United now means that we have taken points off all the biggest teams in this league, which isnt bad considering we have only been here a year and a half!!

I do like Swansea. They play a style of football that's very easy on the eye. Unlike some other teams. Ahem* Stoke*.

I'm hoping they get into Europa league and play some Spanish sides. Be a good game to watch and a "British" (:sly:) team to cheer for.

Indeed, it would be fantastic to see them play Athletico Madrid.

How is 8 and a missed penalty for you. Man City different class? with only 1 past lowly Reading:lol: Took them until injury time to get that 1 goal as well.

Good result especially with United only managing a draw

I'm happy for Chelsea even though my prediction was rubbish..

Well I say happy for Chelsea, I mean happy for Benitez mainly and then Torres. Avid Liverpool fan and feel he went out wrongly so happy to see them both doing good.
 
Really gutted United only managed to score 1 goal....

Massive chances and really should have won it in the end.


Great fun watching how Chelsea demolished Villa. :lol:

We also had a goal wrongly ruled out (Torres) as well, in reality we had more fantastic chances to make this a cricket score :)

Nice to see Torres hitting form, a bullet header from him, hope this form continues.
 
Well done Chelsea, very complete performance that. Did Villa even register a shot? Nice to see Lucas Piazon finally debuting in the Premier League too, he's an exciting prospect đź‘Ť


Now, can we talk about the van Persie incident this morning?

Absolutely shocking by Ashley Williams. Not just to take a cheap shot like that, but to joke about it in the interview? Awful. He knew what he was doing, and he should be suspended for at least 3 games like Fellaini.
