Really not happy after the way Swansea have played this week:grumpy:

We lost at home to Norwich last saturday, we did beat Middlesbrough to get to the League cup semis..but it was a below par performance and now we have lost to Tottenham 1-0 when spurs had 23 shots on goal with 9 on target and we had 4 on goal with none on target!...nowhere near good enough!👎:irked:

Swansea have done much better than I expected this year, I wouldn't be too displeased just yet.

Massive league game tonight! Reading v Arsenal..both teams need a win, both managers are under pressure!

No football tonight, but theres the League cup semi between Leeds and Chelsea tomorrow night..Chelsea only arrived back in the UK today!

I heard about that. If they lose to Leeds, Benitez is going to be in a very dangerous position.
 
Cant really see them winning it as the whole squad will be knackered and jetlagged..he could, of course, put a few kids out but that would be a big risk as Leeds are a good team...

..also i was wrong when i said theres no games on tonight..there are a few FA Cup replays on..
 
Could be interesting to see Bradford's result against Brentford after knocking Arsenal out of the FA Cup.

I heard about that briefly. Wasn't one of their players ineligable to play and the FA's punishment was deemed to harsh and they got a £10,000 fine instead?
 
They missed their deadline to register him, but the FA let them off because it was a genuine administrative error and not a malicious attempt at deception.

This of course goes against precedence. In 2006 and 2008, Bury and Droylsden respectively were kicked out of the competition for the same offence and lost their appeals.

So next time, the FA can't really say no can they, given that they've now set a new precedence?

I guess it doesn't matter now anyway because they lost 4-2 in extra time. I don't think reaching the second round gets any significant amount of money so they don't loose out on anything.
 
Ill be wtching the game with interest tonight considering Swansea are in contention..semi final draw will take place after the game..

I never like to say this, but I hope Leeds wins... :dunce:
 
Chelsea 0-1 down to Leeds, H/T, Capital One Cup.
 
I must say that that was a fantastic goal by Becchio. Leeds are looking very strong and this might just be redemption for Neil Warnock.
