On the offensive side of things you guys have been at hard work in the league. Man U should have steam rolled over their Champions league group and didn't.

They didn't make it through. Big whoop.

I'm just glad that Chelsea have been looking quite good the past two games. A run for the BPL title is a stretch but, not out of contention yet.
 
Cant rule Chelsea out if you me...Benitez seems to be finding his feet at the club and its shown in theyre last few games...

..also, i know that this is slightly off topic but i cant believe that Forest sacked Sean O'Driscoll after a 4-2 over Leeds yesterday!!

It's Fergie, he's always involved in this sort of stuff, he thinks he's untouchable.
 
Arsenal v Newcastle and Everton v Chelsea look like the pick of the weekends games..Pretty big game for my Swans as well at home to Fulham as Michu is injured and will miss the game..we need to show that we arent a one man team!

Yeah, a clean sheet is always nice. Not the best performance by the team though.

Was to bad Norwich didn't manage to get a draw, or even a win, against City.


And :lol: at the Arsenal - Newcastle match... 10 goals! 7-3 to Arsenal! :dunce:
 
So according to sky sports news..Chelsea have made an enquiry over Demba Ba...thats no real surprise as they need a striker now that Sturridge is of to Liverpool..

Great business if we do get Ba, being only 7m means we will wait until the summer for Falcao with maybe Torres going back home.

We really need to keep Lampard and Cole, after Lampards last 2 performances how can they not offer him at least another year or two.

Win our game in hand and we will have City looking over their shoulder :sly:

But with the recent track record it just means we'll be demolished next week. We're really good against some teams and terrible against others. I'd prefer some consistency and maybe 2-1 or 1-0 wins as losses to make us look more solid rather then like foils every odd week.

I think they said something like that about RDM after the CL final a few months ago. Regardless, Lampard has nothing to prove and if they let him go, it'l be a massive loss.

I'm a bit skeptical about Chelsea going for Ba. Ba is doing well right now, but how well has he done in recent seasons? Wouldn't it be just like purchasing another Torres? Who really only had 1 outstanding season with Liverpool. They should save the 7 Mil and buy Falcao. A true world class striker. Whose been hot his whole career, just is absolutely insane right now.

If it makes for more goals per/£ for the tickets or the Sky Sports TV subscription I can't think many are complaining.
 
The Ba move to Chelsea hit a snag..his representitives had an 'unproductive' meeting with the club last night and will now talk to other clubs...
