Why do clubs print these shirts so their players can get booked. Mind you the refs can't even get that right, sometimes people get away with it. If they want to display a message so much why can't they wear it before or after the game, they would be no problem then.

If It's a controversial shirt I could understand giving a booking. But a good message like that, that's just being fan friendly if you ask me.

Yes I agree but the rules are clear, all messages are yellow cards. Scrap the rule or enforce it. Also say he or another player posted a message in his native language, then what do you do when you can't understand it.:sly:

Because it's part of a celebration. Nobody would care if they wore it before hand.

All goals count the same, it does not matter how you celebrate and most players only do it because they want attention and accept getting a yellow for it. What I don't get is why the clubs allow and even encourage it.

Guess it has something to do with allowing players freedom, if it isn't directly hurting anyone I suppose they feel like they would be restricting them as individuals?

Chelsea were right to rest their players in my opinion, and should have comfortably beaten QPR but obviously it hasn't worked out that way. Fair play to the Rs.

Me too, with the calibre of their players they should be comfortably mid table. After tonight, maybe their season will finally get going.

I wonder if Tony Fernandes is wishing he never bothered with this sport lark.
 
The big problem I think was positioning. Marin should have played CAM, Moses LW and Oscar RW. Oscar isn't very good in the middle, and Moses seems more comfortable on the Left. We were so slow until Hazard and Mata came on the field. If they started the game, definite win.

It appears that Mancini tried to floor him after a tackle on Scott Sinclair in training.
 
Looks to me like Mancini started it and when Balotelli turned around and reacted he was made the bad guy. II have to say I've had no respect for Mancini since that Tevez thing last year.

Trouble is the owner of Man City is a big ballotelli fan so this will bring out who really is in charge. The manager or the board. Either way I wouldn't be surprised if one of them left.

Ba to Chelsea..Cole to West Ham..Debeuchy to Newcastle..Ben Haim to QPR..all happened today so far...
 
So the FA cup takes the stage this weekend then..there are a few matches that could be upsets..the biggest potential for an upset has got to be the Brighton-Newcastle match..Brighton are just outside the play-offs in the Championship, Guy Poyet has done a great job there, Whereas Newcastle have struggled this season and are now in a battle to stay in the League...

....Massive week for Swansea! we got Arsenal at home in the cup sunday, away to Chelsea in the League cup wednesday and the Everton next weekend!
