Watching the V8 Supercar race at Yas Marina atm. For such a world renowned and expensive circuit (Over $1.5 billion) the marshall's are useless. It took over 5 minutes to get a firetruck round to a car sitting in the track on fire (Turn 18-19). The marshal nearby just stood there looking on.
They've just dumped a truckload of sand over the oil and debris and left it now.

I think most of the marshal's have flown there from Britain (at least they did in the past years).
 
Vettel should be careful not to crash into the back of those much slower GP2 level cars at the start.

Other than that, I suppose he'll manage a podium after all, and a certain win if he makes it up to 2nd with Webber running in 1st place...

All you people saying this would be a miracle, think outside the square. No where does it say turn 1 lap 1, it could be turn 1 lap 34. And I wouldn't be surprised!

You're assuming Grosjean will make it to lap 34 without hitting anyone else... :dopey:
 
Awesome lap by Lewis, interesting to see his DRS usage through turns two and three.

Red Bull unlucky for being short of only 150ml. Should be a very exciting race if Vettel keeps his car out of trouble.
 
Hamilton will win with ease, Alonso for the podium and Vettel in point position.
We could see much overtaking due to Vettel started from the last position...hopefully.
 
Did anybody else watching the BBC coverage, spot a work of art hanging on the wall of Newey's design studio?, It looks to me like it's none other than GTP's Klem's art work. Awesome props Klem. 👍

They do have some very good quotes in fairness. That's why when I can I watch on BBC as they have much more banter from my experiences with Sky.

Why red flag?

If no one is in pit they can clear it before any car goes into the pit, barring any issues that happen.
 
First race in a long while that could really be interesting from the start. I'm going for a Hamilton win, Alonso on the podium and Vettel to be 6th. A safety car could make things fall into Sebs lap.
