Pastrana for his first stint... stalls and then nearly hits someone... big crash.
 
That Porsche driver had some incredible reflexes too mis that.
 
He's stopped a bit close to the racing line then.
 
So now theres a real wreck with a car sitting in a dangerous spot and they wait more than a minute to throw the yellow flag out,..

Well if you pop down to the circuit there might be some cheap second hand Mazda RX-8 parts. (Only slightly damaged).
 
I hope pastrana doesn't crash that Ferrari. He is amazing at fmx and supercross but he knows how to wreck a car especially his Subaru. And the officials need to get there head out of there butt cause that Mazda was in a bad place.

They're letting Pastrana race?! I don't follow the Rolex series but I am watching the race right now but wow that is a shocker especially in a car that fast.

Not only did he almost make contact with another car in pit lane, he almost wrecked it at the exit.
 
Believe its on until 11. Hate that they don't cover it through the night like they do at the 24 hr Le Mans.

A lot of people have wrecked coming off the pit exit at Daytona.

You guys do realize the SPEED coverage ends in about 2 hours, right?
You eventually might want to tune into one of the cameras on SPEED.com and tune into Radio Le Mans or use the Live Audio thing here.

I've already got both loaded up on standby. :p And according to my cable guide, SPEED goes off-air at 11 PM, 3 hours away.
 
I met Travis a few years ago at the start of Wales Rally GB, really really nice guy. Talked for ages and more than happy to sign autographs and have pic's taken. He came across as being down to earth. I met him a few times over the weekend (I was working for Ford Motor Company at the time) and his enthusiasm was infectious.

They do the same thing for Le Mans I believe, split it between TV and internet stream.

He is very cool. About 3 years ago I met him out at a motocross track down here in Florida and he autographed a picture from a racer x mag that showed him at Daytona sx and in the background were me my bro my dad and some friends standing on the tri oval wathcing him go by. Hope he does good in auto racing like he did in fmx and motocross.

They covered the entire 24 hours? Seriously? If so, right on, SPEED.


But my on-screen guide says it's on until 10PM. And it's 8PM now where I live.
So just letting you guys know.

They are only broadcasting on TV until than, then it will switch to online(not the onboard cams).
 
Says 11pm (eastern) on my TV Guide after checking again.

Yeah I stayed up til about 2 am watching Le Mans last year.. so it was at least on that late but Im pretty sure it stayed on tv all the way through.

They just said they didn't get enough fuel in during the one pit stop.

The DPG3 cars would be better than the old gen DPs, would love to have the Corvette DP.
