They have made multiple bids for him. Napoli want 53 Mil or more. And Chelsea only seem to want to pay up to 45ish.
Probably due to FFP rules. Ambramovic has said to Mourinho that he needs to bring players through the academy instead of buy players. Personally, I'd get Lukaku back from loan.

Sir Alex Ferguson and Nemanja Vidic enjoying Wimbledon:

So Swansea have signed Jonjo Shelvey from Liverpool for £6 million...im quite happy with that as I think Shelvey is a good young player but I think we have paid a little to much for him....

Lukakus deal with West Born should be up soon so, he'll hopefully be playing this year.

Nicklas Anelka having medical at West Brom...

..And Phil Neville and Ryan Giggs have been named as coaches at Man United...Giggs is a player/coach..

And Phil Neville first team coach. Sounds good to me. Having coaches that know the way we play.

It sounds good to me as well, its not the first time a retired/current United player has joined the coaching staff at the club, the last one was Paul Scholes when he retired the first time he was the assistant reserve team coach for 6 months until he come out of retirement....I don't know if he'll get a coaching role this time around..i haven't heard anything.

Didn't Ole Gunnar Solskjaer coach the U21's a few years ago.

Solskjær!

;)

And he did coach the reserves, yes.
 I would have done that ae together thing (Don't know what it's called ) but I was too lazy to look for special characters

"Solshaaarr" :lol:

How'd I do the "AE" on a phone? :dopey:
First, you press the A button, then you press the E button.

It will give you the following word, AE.

:sly:

On topic though, hopefully Moyes will spill some good news today!

Right some mixed messages coming from that press conference, just before the conference Moyes released a statement saying that Rooney is not for sale and will remain a United player (he also said that at the press conference, so far so good) but when he was asked if Rooney had asked to leave he avoided the question a few times...im a little worried and disappointed that this hasn't been cleared up...

Really impressive press conference.

The way he handled the Rooney questions, and questions regarding transfer targets.

Hopefully he will continue what he said; "always going for the best players".

That was a decent press conference. I agree with Phoenix that he handled the Rooney questions well in general and avoided talking about transfers by saying "It's disrespectful to talk about players when they're at another club"

Jozy Altidore is going to Sunderland and I read that Danny Williams is going to Reading.

I hope Jozy can cement himself as a worthy goal scorer on the top stage and I'd love Williams to become more of a fixture for the national team. He's an imposing fellow.

I also read somewhere in here about people not supporting clubs and just being a "football fan." That's definitely me . Other than the national team, I have absolutely no preference. I only cheer for certain players.

Swansea to complete the signing of striker Bony from Vitesse Arnham for around £13 million in the next 24 hours, I know that's a lot of money but he scored 31 in 30 games last season, so ill be happy with him joining the club 👍

Still not the £2.2 million bargain that was Michu

Well Laudrup has had clashes with Huw Jenkins this summer as he wanted to sign more high profile players for more money (he used West Ham and Carroll as an example) so he gets what he wants!

Swansea are taking a risk this year, lots of new players might just spoil their current team unit but even then they shouldn't get relegated. What's their target this year, top ten or is it going to be a bit more with the money they've spent? £13 million is a lot of money for an Eredivisie player but Bony's record was so good this year he was always going to cost that. He'll be under some pressure this year, it'll be interesting to see how well he does.

We needed to strengthen our squad anyway because we are in the Europa League with all the extra games it brings, so we have bought 6 players already and have only let one go so far, but Mark Gower and Kemy Agustien have not travelled on our Holland tour, so they'll be going...

Looks like Fulham are up for sale then, so does that mean that weird Michael Jackson statue will be coming down?!

If anyone buys them I expect it will come down, I don't think anyone except Al Fayed actually likes or wants that thing outside.

Well the Fulham fans certainly don't like it.

Looks like the owner of American Football franchise the Jacksonville Jaguars is the favourite to get the club, could set him back over £100 million...also another American owner!

And another thing, Sky announced the first 41 games they will be showing this season, the first four will be on the opening weekend and they are..

Sat 17th Aug...Swansea-Man United (5.30pm)
Sun 18th...Palace-Tottenham (1.30pm)
Sun 18th...Chelsea-Hull (4pm)
Mon 19th...Man City -Newcastle (8pm)

BT Sport have the first game of the season, which is Liverpool-Stoke on Saturday (12.45pm)
