I don't know if you guys got this on TV but one of the caterhams ****ed Rosberg in the ass. He was far away from Button and had a cruising stint until the ****ing caterham held him off, then the Mclarens were all over him. Just when he had room to breathe, he had to defend like crazy again. Then Webber finished him off in the 3rd stint. ****ing shame.

I don't know which Caterham it was but that **** should be ****ing suspended.

I felt sorry for both Ferraris as well. Alonso seems to have a stuck DRS and Massa's wheel came off.


I'll still have to watch the race on TV because I might've missed a few things but for now:

Also, is it me or did Perez actually touch Button? I saw something flying off but Button didn't pit for a puncture.

Felt like an action packed exciting race but it's such a shame what happened to the Ferraris and especially Rosberg through no fault of his own.

I can actually watch a race from an impartial perspective. All of your post are exactly the same. "Rosberg is the best driver in the world, he was unlucky and everything that goes wrong for him is everyone else's fault" You're too biased to actually acknowledge anything that's going on and just make up nonsense excuses consistently.

Would love to hear your reasoning for this. Because from what I saw Vettel battled back very well in turn 4/5 on lap 1 to retake Alonso and then controlled the race from there and out. No luck about it. Also struggling to work out what Hamilton did to be considered lucky.

To me Rosberg did great in qualifying.
In the race he tried as hard as he could to stay 1st but just couldn't keep it going,in the end a great effort but an average finish for him.

He finished nowhere near his teammate who started 8 places further down the grid. The Mercedes is just a rubbish car like last year. I can easily see them fall back to the midfield like last year. Best hopes for 2014 I guess.

Hamilton did an amazing job. Had to fight hard for P5. He could've been on the podium had it not been for the penalty.

..? I'm sorry but how was he not screwed in the first 3 races? What do you expect me to say? two mechanical failures and team orders that prevented him from at least a podium. Then today's situation. How am I bias? I did say that the Webber incident was a racing incident even though it was another huge blow to Nico's race.

I suppose Michael Schumacher was a terrible driver in 2012 too, right? He arguably did better than Alonso given the piece of crap he had to drive.

Hamilton drove in clean air without having to defend until the last stint. I remember him only coming close to a Sauber/Williams in the middle of the race but that didn't last more than 2 laps. With the Ferraris falling back behind him, of COURSE he gained extra free positions. With Nico it was the opposite. He had to overdrive the car most of the race which ruined his tyres in the first 3 stints. Give the guy a break.

As for Vettel, he pretty much did what he always does in every race except he had to pass Rosberg and Alonso in the first 2 laps.

The only thing Rosberg could've done better was NOT defend at all and just yield to everyone. That way he would've had enough rubber to finish the race in the top 5 at least. He was probably overexcited about starting from pole and wanted to cling on any position he can stay at.

Sorry about the language by the way. 3 hours in traffic to get into the circuit, followed by an intense race and another 1 hour in traffic just to get out of the circuit.

This race shows that durable tyres is the way to go for good wheel to wheel racing.

Rosberg seemed to be pushing too much, if he took it easier he probably would have got a better result but like Button seemed caught up in the moment. Good for race action though as they were defending quite hard and well.

Alonso is a bit unlucky with the DRS but shows you how good his pace must have been to get up to where he did without DRS. I suppose he is at least fortunate that the DRS flap went back down.

I wonder if Hulkenberg is regretting his move. Di Resta and both Lotus drivers did a good job.

Well done to Vettel, grabbed control of race early on and paced himself well. Hamilton had a strong end to the race so not all doom and gloom for Mercedes. Some potential is in their car somewhere.

Alonso was 18 seconds from the podium in the end. He also spent 19 seconds more in the pit than Grosjean so even without DRS for more or less the entire race he still had almost the same race pace as the third placed driver.

Edit: His fastest lap was third quickest in the race. 1.6 seconds quicker than his team mates' best.

That isn't luck, F1 is a team sport in case you forgot. It's not lucky that they built a good car. If you want to think like that any driver in history who had a race winning car was lucky. It's also highly debatable he has the best car at the moment, the Lotus and Ferrari look just as good on race pace but the Lotus started too far back today and the Ferrari's ran into trouble.

So yes he was lucky in that sense but overall there was nothing lucky about the win.

Scary to think they might be changing the tyres to suit Red Bull more. Perez provided most of today's entertainment, I was surprised he seemed to care so little about looking after his tyres. Shame we have to wait 3 weeks until Catalunya.

Lewis used to have a bit of a reputation for pushing harder and consequently being harder on tires, but perhaps he has grown past that more than Nico has.

Or the two cars were setup a bit different

I just cant believe Mercedes havent sorted this tire issue out yet.

Lewis did seem to run pretty long stints and manage them quite well apart from the first stint .

Hope they get it sorted before 2014.
