for a F1 driver that's a poor parking job

What morons are manning that corner. Car stopped on the hill. No, that's never gonna move.

Marussia has gotten more camera time today than they have, well.... ever.

Investigated after the race? So what do these guys during the race, drink tea?

Exactly.

Like the unsafe release of Paul di Resta will also be investigated after the race. How hard can that be to judge what the situation is and then deliver the correct punishment, if there needs to be one. A simple drive-through, in my opinion. This will then affect Force India for the next GP if a punishment is given and it's delivered in the form of a Grid Penalty.

-

Lucky that Marussia was rolling across the track when there weren't any other drivers going by, it could have been very dangerous. Some amount of smoke, too.

Pinnacle of motorsport my arse. Inept stewards, inept pit work, cars rolling backwards.
Looks like they have been on the Pilsner.

When's Vergne retired?

Edit: Hydraulic problem.

So instead of tires blowing up, we have this.

According to the hosts, the cameraman is OK.

Well said. The stewarding this year has been a goddamn joke to say the least.

Nice replay of Webber flying past about 10 cars on the straight. Imagine the teams face if he'd stuffed it into the back of the other Redbull.

Might be something like this

Long safety car period. Are they still chasing the Marussia down the hill?

This safety car allowing all cars to get on the same lap is stupid. If other cars are that slow or have problems, I don't see why they should gain all that time back.

Makes it more exciting

Its rolled into the river now .

Yeah, really exciting those last 10 minutes.

Well if you ever get to be the head of the F1, you can make a rule that says.

Once you get lapped, you must retire.

This way only fast cars are on the track.

They should do this for NASCAR.

They should do this for NASCAR.

In NASCAR you only drive in an oval, there will only be 4 cars left by the end of the race.

4? You're being wishful. Long green flag run and 2 passes for the lead = nobody finishes.

They are racing on the Nordschleife now.

Funny, there were 30 on lead lap near end of Daytona.

Where did I say they had to retire?

Just clear the issue on track, if cars are out of position in the snake, so be it. Let them stay a lap down, but allow the rest of the cars to pass them until you were at the point before the SC. You wouldn't have wasted 5-10 minutes/3/4 laps of racing then.

Can some one update me with what has gone on, I missed the first half...damn nbc sports has the race set for 8:00 PM MST even though it's live right now.. Thanks Skysports

cnbc.

Sounds like Vettel might not have KERS working on his car.

So far all I can tell is that the Lotus are faster like I though they would be with the new tires. But what happened to Ham?

You got CNBC? It's on there since the Tour de France is on NBC Sports.
