RACECARMy mistake then, misunderstood that bolded portion. Also, where's a 94? I don't remember seeing that anywhere, certainly didn't at Daytona and I don't see it on Jayski. I still think there's a chance the #30 could be for him as that has no full time driver behind the wheel for the time being.
30/94 is the part time truck. Chase Elliott is running short tracks in a Turner #94 which is throw back to his dad's number. Go look at testing this week at Martinsville and it's there but is his K&N series scheme. I don't have a picture of it right now.
The deal is the part-time Turner truck has Chase, Ryan Truex to drive it which Ryan drove it at Daytona but so far that's it. If Hendrick takes owner ship of the #94 but has Turner build the truck and use all Hendrick team then that will open a 5th Turner truck which would allow Nelson to run Martinsville race that he would like to try for a win after finishing 2nd in October.
I just don't know how that will play out because I'd love to see Nelson in trucks again!
Edit: actually after thinking on it. You can run 5 cars during a race as long as one is on limited bases, so I think it will depend on sponsorship for Nelson and Turner saying yes.
