Gio and Morgan both on soft for race 1. Could give them a chance of a podium.

Abbot, Austin, Neal are all in trouble... I believe also one of the BMR VW Passats was involved.
Stockton and Sheddon are also in trouble... Sheddon's Honda is now a Hatchback again;P

Gio had a cracking start, went up the inside of Shedden, he drifted the the right a bit too much, and then hell broke loose.
 
Shedden never admits responsibility, he pushed Gio into the pitwall and somehow feels he is innocent!
 
Ooo, possibility that Tordoff could be at another team next year!
 
I think BTCC dropped the ball today, having race 1 clashing with the Grand Prix is only going to cost them viewers.
 
It would've been finished in time it wasn't for the safety car.
 
MGs swapped just before the SC... Probably reacting to Turkington's pace.
 
Warren Scott's Volkswagen is dropping fluids. You can see it on the track, possibly is only coolant.
As it's being towed away, it's still dropping some fluids...

I was rather looking forward to it going down to the last race.. Ideally the last 3 laps ;)

Plato takes out Turkington...


EDIT: Jackson spins out of the lead... Collard leads now and SC out.
 
Off goes Turkington into the gravel...
And Jackson is off in the Focus!
 
Turkington has only had 3 non finishes this season. Two of those retirements have been from Plato taking him out.
 
Adam Mordan has taken the lead!
C'mon Morgan! That A-Class deserves to win!

BUT. Plato could be penalized for his contact with Turks so if Adam hangs onto 2nd he could inherit a win.
 
I think it will be Plato sent to the back of the grid for the last race. Not sure they will penalise the race result.

Gutted for Morgan losing the win. But 2nd for him is not bad.
 
My urge to punch Plato has just grown a little more.
