2-0 Croatia.
EDIT: Now 3-0 Croatia.
EDIT 2: Make that 4-0.

With the FT whistle here, Cameroon will be out and Brazil will be very nearly through to the next stage. For Brazil to get knocked out, they would need to lose by two (or more) goals against Cameroon and have Croatia win by a single goal (only by more if Brazil lose by even more) in a high scoring game. Unlikely I'd say.

Cameroon was getting blown out by Croatia before the red card. Brazil is absolutely going to destroy them.

And Cameroon become the third team eliminated.

Croatia's biggest World Cup win since 1998 (When they beat Germany 3-0 in the Quarterfinals), and their first win since 2002 (when they beat Italy 2-1). Both Rakitić and Mandžukić should have scored their missed chances, however (and Mandžukić could have gotten a hat-trick)

Mexico Vs Croatia could go down to the wire...

People have been saying that Brazil (or Brasil depending on your language) have already won Group A, with the winner of the Mexico-Croatia game set to advance to the knock out rounds(either on penalties or other nonsense). Do you see any truth to that?

Well they haven't won it yet but if they don't I would be very surprised as Brazil should beat Cameroon with ease and because of superior GD, Brazil would be top of the group as well. Also there are no penalties in the group stages so if a team is level on points, it first goes on GD and then my best guess would be goals scored and then head to head.

Mathematically, Brazil can be still knocked out, if either Croatia beat Mexico by a goal, and Cameroon beat them by 3 goals or more (Brazil Vs Mexico tie-breaker), or if they lose regardless of the score and Croatia draw with Mexico (Brazil Vs Croatia tie-breaker). Realistically, however, it's very unlikely that Cameroon will win 3-0 let alone win, based on their last performance against Croatia (and with the injuries and suspensions).
Brazil, though, aren't guaranteed 1st spot on the table-If they don't win, and if either Mexico or Croatia win, they will cinch 1st spot and Brazil will come 2nd.
Thus, the last two matches will be decisive: Brazil and Mexico need to at least a draw to make it through, and Croatia need a win to make it through-and both 1st and 2nd place are up for grabs for these three teams (if the odds are in their favour)

It is at this moment where all of the terrible decisions (i.e. unfair penalties and disallowed, but legitimate, goals) made by the referees can come back to haunt these teams, all from no fault of their own :grumpy:. I do hope the referees in the next games (especially Mexico Vs Croatia) are fair and make the right decisions...

I found this on the CONMEBOL website:

The only person in that Spain team who didn't appear hopeless was Iniesta.

It was with his weaker foot and he hit it so clean and with so much power first time from over his shoulder from the edge of the box.

By a couple of feet maybe but it was at a bit of an angle so roughly the same distance.

EDIT: just watched a replay... he hit it well inside the box but he was watching it for so long before it eventually reached his foot.

I've just noticed that we don't seem to be doing results in the OP, unlike the last two World Cups...

1-0 Colombia

I'm working, mate.

I was about to say how strange it was to watch both teams maintain a high tempo while going all-out in attack, but with no goals to show for it.

And then Colombia scored.

EDIT: Make that two!

0-0 after the 1st half!

At home crying after a bad final...

Anyway, I haven't been keeping up with the game because I'm studying. But from what I've seen, it's been a fairly good game

2-0. Colombia is going through

2-1! Gervinho reducing the deficit.

Now the goals won't stop coming.
