Nice anti-football from Iran. Glad they received no points after they basically turtled in their defensive zone for the whole game.
I used to think like you, back when Chelsea eliminhated Barcelona in their Champions League winning campaign.
I do believe fouling all the time is anti-football, but defending all the time isn't really anti-football, it's just a fair tactic that Argentina couldn't exploit, unsurprisingly, as it's harder to penetrate through a 11-men defense than a normal defense, which Argentina can't even properly play against.
Horrible match. The media, as always, sprouts out things like "Romero man of the match", and apparently he has turned into a fantastic goalkeeper when he is the same as always, and as any other player, ocasionally has a good game, but in no way that makes him the player they try to portray.
And, how could we forget, "ARGENTINA IS GOING TO WIN THE WORLD CUP" -> "🤬 PLAYERS, GOOD FOR NOTHING" -> "YESSS, THANK YOU MESSI, ARGENTINA 2014 WORLD CUP WINNERS". Absolutely annoying.
