No. You don't want them to be as cool as possible. These brakes can reach up to 1000 degrees Celsius. Obviously, they have an optimal range. Too cold and they won't grip. Too hot and they'll fail. I can't believe you've never heard a driver being told to get some heat into the brakes.

That's his left rear :) Nico is being told to not use the brakes.

Also poor Vettel, does everything right and is behind Ricciardo through somebody else's accident.
